I dont think it's been mentioned. Hayden missing was a big set back as much as EMC. On another day there's no doubt Hayden would have given that option in front of Milan giving much needed cover on the right hand side and stifling out the likes of Monga and Mavadidi. And given the extra energy to get up and down the pitch on RHS.Really happy with today’s game.
Leicester will be Top 3, and we went toe to toe with them.
Special mention to Eccles who was exactly what we needed when he came on, energy and tough tackling, and that turn!
With EMC and Hayden out, the bench did look thin though, attacking wise. We really needed that winger in the transfer window.
Our lot, or theirs, who started it?
Don’t know who did. Just hope they got what was coming to them.
I think Brau has to start getting some more minutes In to get him used to the team, it’s no good waiting til DaSilva gets injured and throwing him in.I dont think it's been mentioned. Or he could have even played at left back.
Glad Brau didn't get on (I do rate his potential) but not the game for him. This was a very disciplined display and very impressive.
Didn't see anything personally, the whole day just seemed very low key and subdued to me, including the game.
I enjoyed that game. Credit to both teams, especially us away from home, for playing to win the game. Such a contrast to that embarrassment from Norwich last Saturday. I don’t think I saw any time wasting or feigning injury or gamesmanship. If there was, I must have missed it from being so caught up in the game. i thought it was exciting, end to end stuff.
It was. But it seems Leicester's has frailties with set pieces also - taking them. Luke Thomas did not impress me with his corners yesterday. They are one of the better squads in the division. To not concede given our frailties at set pieces alone was a big positive.
Quick question.... what's our longest unbeaten run? Just curious.
I'm sure 10 games rings a bell, but I'm probably miles off!
Yeah, tough assignment for him yesterday and possibly the most difficult he'll face this season, but he did at least okay. Are people still hung up on Jay Dasilva having a bad game, even though he didn’t really?
Thomas was very good , won almost everything , made a couple key blocks first half , and a goal saving tackleI was more impressed with Kitching as he had to cover Dasilva and help him against Fatawu
Banned from interviewing players sure .. not sure a ban from the games is reasonable at allAnyone seen that muppet trying to interview Torp after the game on you tube. The blokes an absolute wanker putting it mildly. He should be banned
If you saw him at the stadium and listened to him spouting off you'd want him bannedBanned from interviewing players sure .. not sure a ban from the games is reasonable at all
Depends if you think football only started when the PL did. We were unbeaten in our last 25 games of the 1966/67 season.Quick question.... what's our longest unbeaten run? Just curious.

Was 14 games before curtailment .. lost 1 in 23 thoughDepends if you think football only started when the PL did. We were unbeaten in our last 25 games of the 1966/67 season.
We might of got close to that in 2019/20 when Covid disrupted the season during a long unbeaten run.
Yep I’d say that’s a fair assessment.Whatsapp text from a dear friend who's been a Leicester ST holder for decades.....
Fatawu will test a few full backs, although so far the Preston lad and to a certain extent the Birmingham left back had the measure of him. Mavididi is really no more than a show pony, terrible body language and can't be arsed most of the time, give Monga selective starts and he will be a much better option.
Ayew has to play because we have no other 9 or 10 that can buy fouls, hold the ball up a bit. The new guy Carranza who came on just might fit into the 9 slot and Aron Ramsey who is on a 2 match ban will come back into midfield. Soumare shouldn't even be wearing the shirt.
I thought both sides played too deep for the majority of the game. I expected more from Haji Wright and your midfield. If they had applied pressure on our defence further up the field i reckon it would have paid dividends.
The game lacked intensity and commitment and a draw was a fair conclusion.
Yes the kit did 'stand out' a bit!
I think that's a fair assessment??
I saw my first game at Highfield Rd in 1963. When was yours?Depends if you think football only started when the PL did.
He’s been one of the main reasons for Dasilvas improvement, that and having Kitching alongside him and not Binks. Grimes is just such a quality player though, even when he’s not on the ball/tackling he’s often plugging gaps to stop the opposition progressing. I saw some 6’s in the ratings which shows some still don’t really get what he brings to the team, especially when considering the opposition yesterday. Been an absolute steal at £3.5m
He’s also left footed so is naturally in that side. My suspicion is that Torp’s heat map would look somewhat the same to cover MVE’s overlaps.
It just sounded oddly sexual and genuinely made me laugh!@Mucca Mad Boys why the laughing emotion?!

I could wrong, it’s an opinion based on intuition. Out of curiosity, where do you get these heat maps from?
If he were a few years younger it would certainly have been more, but for the consistency he brings it's still great business. He does very rarely get caught out in a tricky spot, but much more often he's taking the ball in difficult areas and easing off the pressure in a way a certain predecessor of his just didn't.He’s been one of the main reasons for Dasilvas improvement, that and having Kitching alongside him and not Binks.
