We played well for a good amount of the game so I’m not annoyed about it. They had the better chances. But the game was there to win. Not many will go there this season and do that.
We made a lot of poor decisions in and around the box for sure, but they had the better chances as you say. I think it’s a hard earned point and we move on.

Our backline looks better with the addition of Woolfenden.

I know he hasn't played but having the quality on the bench has scared the mistakes out of those on the pitch.

Offer fuck all going forwards and settle for a point? Game was there to be won
Our keeper got m.o.m on sky.
I think our manager will be happier than there's with a point.
Especially with EMC being out injured and leaving us a bit unbalanced down our left side, which allowed Fatawu to have too much influence.

Plenty to be positive about.
•Clean sheet.
•Still not lost (can we be the invincibles)
•Kept a very, very good teams chances to pretty much shots from outside the box.
•Eccles and Simms both looked good after coming on.
•Rushworth MOM. Hopefully this is the turning point and confidence booster he needed.
•A point away from home (win your home games and draw away)

Not so good though,
• A fair few looked knackered today. And our bench was used only as a last option. Still our lack of depth is concerning
•Still silly individual errors happening across the pitch. Stray passes, poor positioning, and lack of urgency at play for a fair few today!

On the whole, more to be positive about than negative so a good point on the road.

We have to be realistic, you just have to look at how they stayed strong as they made subs, and were able to make like for like changes bringing on some really decent players, whilst we run our starters into the ground before we make subs.

We have a starting 11 that can rival almost anyone in this league on their day, but scratch the surface and we’re a little short in attacking depth on these tight playoff 6 pointers, especially with injuries. The quality drop off is pretty large.

Should have done much better with the one he put wide.

Although their striker had 4 working days to put it in the corner.

The difference between him and simms is in reality it wasn’t easy at all and Simms would have either not got a shot in or ballooned it out the ground.

If haji gets injured we are fucked

and if you wanna measure progress, we were sh*t away from home last season. Lots of signs we've put that behind us. Last season we lose that game. No doubt in my mind.

I agree. But do we wait until next season before we are allowed to be annoyed with drawing an away game we could have won? Even the massive parachute boys Leicester.

No, but we're six games in. I'm glad we've made a solid start. Today's probably the toughest test we've had so far and we came out of it with a well earned point that we'd not have managed last season.

and if we're around where we are now in Jan, I'm expecting we'll pick up a Torp or Grimes level player, maybe two if we don't recall either Obikwu or Raphael, and keep rumbling. Feeling chilled atm.
