If he isn't up to it yet then Wilson should have started the season but he was clearly brought in as number 1.

Chopping and changing the GK after half a dozen games is not a good look.

If Robins now feels that he is "one for the future" then I would question why we bothered signing him.

Oh calm down you & other bedwetters ffs - I bet even Dovin's not as upset about being dropped as some of you lot - just because he cost money it doesn't mean he HAS to start every match
Wilson's only been playing in the cup games so it's hardly chopping & changing constantly
Get a grip ffs

Can't bare to watch this one down the pub avec delay and people announcing disdain when they continue to watch the live sky studio updates.
So, I'm going down BPA for the first home fixture of the season - Big one - Bedford.
It would draw in a big crowd anytime in the season, but first home game and on a lovely sunny afternoon it will be a bumper attendance.
20-10 Cov, 0-0 Sky Blues.

If he’s fucking dropped Dovin I’m gonna lose it, how do we expect to ever have a solid keeper when we chop and change them every 5 minutes. Confidence destroyer.

Dovin has been fine for me. So has Wilson. Happy with either.

Tried to back £20 the City to win 2-0 @ 28/1.
My bookie allowed only £1.76 stake.
I think it's my betting rather than the City that makes them so cautious
Ridiculous they (bookies) don't like it , if you do anything other than lose regularly over time.

I worked in the gambling industry for years when I was younger. If your account becomes unprofitable they'll offer you bets like that, or they'll just close you're account saying they don't want your business. It's why they make so much money, the instant you start to win they'll kick you out. It's a sharks industry.

I cannot see anything other than a defeat. Perform anywhere near as bad as last week and we are in for hammering. Really struggling to find any optimism at the moment

I strangely feel optimistic today and think we will do them.

If we perform as bad as we can though we could easily come away with a 5-0 tanking. Key today is performance more than the result. If leeds just edge it and we put in a shift I can take that.

I hope Sheaf can come away unscathed too. If he gets injured again then we are proper down to the bare bones in midfield

I usually end up predicting a win before most games. I honestly still look at our team and think it should be really good.
But we're fucking hopeless atm, I really can't see it.

Don't really understand dropping Dovin, but Wilson was solid in the cup making some really nice saves.

The constant changing doesn't really fill me with confidence though. By this point we should know the basis of our best team and just rotating for fitness / game time.

It’s not about Wilson, it’s the fact we’ve spent a few mil on a young keeper who’s done nothing wrong so far but is getting dropped. Confidence is massive for keepers and it won’t help him at all.

I expect Wilson is leaving at the end of this season anyway. We should be putting our faith in Dovin if he’s the future.

exactly, think he was unlucky to get dropped for collins, someone said he was poor for the 2nd goal was a good finish,I’d be happy with wilson or dovin, good competition

He did make a great save but was also lacking in anticipation and slow off his line for their winner. We have messed around too many keepers at the club recently (arguably Wilson after his golden glove) and I think keeping the younger keeper we have invested in is best unless he is costing points.

He wasn’t, that goal was executed in a heartbeat. He had a good game and neither him or the others could stop those quick moves.

Saddle what’s going on with the recruitment at the club? In particular the goalkeeper situation, it doesn’t half feel like Groundhog Day?

Bit fed up. Still testing positive and I know we should be up there. First game we've missed this season. Still, I sold my tickets on to a guy and his son who can never get away tickets due to having low points total, so pleased for the both of them.
