Aren't you supposed to put it on your armpits?

That could explain where you have been going wrong.

It comes from all the clubs in this league , fans really believe we are the only team wanting promotion ?

I'm sure Sheffield Wednesday have some sort of Premier League package or incentive for season tickets and they finished 20th last year.

Do people expect the club to come out and say 'get your season tickets as we embark on trying to finish 12th this season!'

Of course the messaging is going to be about success and promotion.

No of course not but it's been clear that it's the target, which I don't think helps.

The target is always promotion. It always was in League 1 and 2 too.

Where it gets dangerous is fans suddenly expecting everything.

Leeds and Sunderland are famous for it and it turns toxic every season.

Exactly. Every club tries to sell tickets by using the same stuff.

Yes I remember Rotherham trying that one.

Selling season tickets = promotion? Haven't we sold a k or 2 more than last year? I think if fans are buying ST's expecting promotion, they are deluded.

It won't be the lack of a promotion push that does for him, it will be the prospect of a relegation battle. They are altogether different things.

The concern is, we are so far off the pace right now in terms of performances, how long is it before that goes from fanciful bed wetting to reality? We're not there yet, it would be very dramatic to say otherwise but how long?

This is just a sobre analysis of whee we are and speculation about how King is viewing things. Could be wrong though, he may stay cool and level headed, guess we'll find out within the next few weeks.

We were a penalty kick away from the PL.

Expecting us to at least compete for the play offs is not demanding “instant success”

I was pointing out that City fans were promised promotion the moment we were relegated from the top flight.

Ultimately the recruitment has been poor with the funds available. We’ve took measured punts on possible future quality rather than actual quality. Unfortunately most are falling short of scouted expectation.

We're not in a relegation battle, it's September. You can't get relegated until at least the new year.

Well I'd like to say that as a supporter who spends thousands following this club all over the country every season this bloke has given me the best years supporting City and it's going to take more than 7 league games to make me reconsider 7 years of absolute fucking bliss .

I wish Robins would be brave. Was not working first half so doesnt change anything at half time.

He never seams to spot when a player is tired or how to counter operation changes.

Sometimes its so amateur.

It's just decency. Things arent going well but the man who has given us a great 7 years, (Robins not Evo), deserves time.
Especially given he's just suffered a bereavement which as many on here will know is a proper head fuck at the best of times.

But you can’t mislead supporters and then not expect them to be angry

If you’re saying that promotion wasn’t a realistic target this season, but the club said it was, then it deserves all the criticism it’s going to get

Based on what, though ? I'm not a bedwetter nor a Robins out but I can't see anything positive at the moment. The argument that we always start slowly has also worn off

I agree. We have had a procession of absolutely disastrous managers at this club going back decades. We all know where that took us. One man has brought us respectability and above all some hope. There's no doubt something is wrong right now and we've never recovered from the FA cup semi final.
But to get rid of Robins now ? I think it's still to early and people are getting too emotional.

There’s no chance King will give Robins until Christmas if this form carries on. The next few games will be key.

Come on Evo. Admit it. We have been poor at best for a major proportion of this season. Our points tally doesn't lie . There is obviously a major problem (regrettably including MR ) which could be one of a number of things . Something needs to change but no idea what it is
