I can accept a slow start but two things are missing this year. Entertainment and Passion.
That really pisses me off.

Must admit Saturday wasn’t much fun but as bad as we were we still could of won that,we’re making enough chances to win every game, and that’s the problem, not taking our chances and I don’t mean half chances, we’ve missed some absolute sitters, watford Norwich and spurs should of been game over at half time,we’re not playing that bad,

Norwich had 1 shot on target scored 1
spurs had 4 shots on target, scored 2
swansea had 4 shots on target scored 2
we had more in all of those games, there’s the problem

And giving up goals from the oppositions relatively fewer chances it seems?
Here's my amateur managerial pep talk: "Just score more goals ffs"

Three at the back is a must. Our success has come from that formation. Let’s get back to it, protect the goal, defend, block…all the basics. Then it’s down to the attack. Time to see what our strikers are really made of.

While I'm not arguing about it,that would surely create frustration by the Scouting team and possibly the owner if we're constantly flipping between styles,no?

I reckon we’ll win 2-1 and this place will go mad for a week then we’ll lose or draw to Blackburn and/or Sheffield Wednesday and it’ll be back to normal

Why would it? It's not up to them - they're not the manager

Robins said at the start of the season we’ll be winning games by just out scoring teams,he knows the defence isn’t good enough, think he was hoping the forwards would be firing from the off, not quite

Agreed. If we weren't creating chances I'd be concerned but we could have easily won all our games. When it clicks it'll be like last season

Line Up I would go for. Think back to basics with the back three. Wingers haven’t been brilliant so thought to start most on the bench and then we can rotate if needs be.

Thinking we go a bit deeper and play a DM to help support the CBs and break up play. If sheaf is fit I’d start him here in place of Eccles and move Eccles to Cm in place of Torp.

Simms starts as feel we’ll need a outlet here to get us of our half and feel BTA could easily make up some work rate and do well with flick ons.

The Netherlands isn't 'Nordic'. So you've got 1 Dane.

I do agree. That said I think its the year's anniversary of the draw at home to Huddersfield or Rotherham (some nondescript Yorkshire team) where Ayari scored with his nob. That game was as equally as dispiriting as anything we've seen this season so on that basis I'm keeping the faith that we will kick on soon. Hopefully Sheaf coming back will be the spark we need.

He will more likely be rushed back out of desperation, and end up injured for even longer.

If you were Leeds players who would you be a bit worried about in match ups?
I suspect it would only be Saka, Wright and maybe Simms.
Against our midfield and defence you must really fancy your chances.
Probably tells you who we should play.

Give it a rest. He won't play if he's not been deemed fit enough by the medical staff, so it's not a case of 'rushing him back'.

There may be a case for going back to 3ATB while still allowing us an attacking threat, but it would leave us with a few signings that wouldn't fit into that shape IMO.

Dovin
Thomas Kitching Binks
MvE Eccles Sheaf Rudoni Bidwell
Simms Bassette

Of course we have no idea when Sheaf will be back, so you're looking at Torp or Allen in there (if he's not injured too). JD is the more obvious LWB but always gets caught out with a ball over the top so I'd stick with Bidwell. MvE would also have a huge amount of running to do and with no back-up for him I fear he'd suffer an injury.

Of course, with the defence MR would obviously fill one of those spots with Lati instead (or put him into the midfield due to injuries).

You could still have Wright and BTA on the bench to come on a strikers, though Saka would be redundant and EMC might be too unless he could also play up front if needed.

So although it's an option it probably doesn't suit the squad we've got.

No, it’s boring and without an outstanding target man like Vik we’ll get nowhere with it (see: beginning of 23/24)

Dovin
MVE
Thomas
Kitching
JDS
Eccles
Sheaf
Rudoni
Sakamoto
Simms
EMC

Wouldn't be surprised though to see MVE pushed forward into Saka's spot and Lati to play at right back.

Or thinking on, even JDS to play further forward on the left with Bidwell at left back.

I remember being at Plymouth getting 66/1 on JDS 1st goalscorer when playing left of a front three.

He's not really Ian Maatsen, in that regard, but would do a job.
