No don't say that!!!!! You'll get accused of wanting to sign all the non league strikers for some bizarre reason

My comment was about how it's "we should have signed him".

Why didn't he sign for a League One club? Why does him playing for Leamington mean he will do the same as Colby Bishop?

We should of took a punt for that price! You then said i wanted to be in the telegraph on no basis whatsoever.... he obviously had something about him as championship teams were apparently interested? We obviously missed out on Bishop so who knows how he will do, maybe he will tear league 2 up or he'll be shit we'll have to wait and see

It's not just the purchase price, it's the wages as well. Yeah he wouldn't be on as much as Godden but adding him to the list of other strikers on the books it all adds up when you consider we still have Ponticelli, Bremang etc.

Forest Green are saying Championship teams were interested, were they outbid by FGR then? Why didn't they take a punt?

We can't sign every non league player that makes the move into the football league on the chance they will do well, that's what Robins and Badlan will be doing to find players to fit into our system.

Having watched them both regularly in the last 18 months March is a better all round player than Bishop.

I think Terry Gibson's Perm was correct in saying, do we even have the 25K, plus wages, to spare? Rumours from the boardroom suggest the money dried up months ago and SISU are now making up the losses and will be for the remainder of the season - although that's hardly shocking news. In fact Robins' comments regarding transfers this season pretty much all but confirm there's no money for players. You can only spend a pound once so gambling on an unproven National League North striker (which we don't really need) would be a risk IMO. Especially when there are contracts that still need to be renewed.

I’m sure he will have been looked at but is he better than what we have ? we have four experienced first team strikers plus Jones and Kasteneer. He has to be better no good because buying another bench warmer.

It's probably the right move for him anyway. He's more likely to play at FGR than he is here. Would he have wanted to come and be backup to Godden?

I've seen a lot of Leamington lately and actually think this lad has more potential than Bishop (the chap at Accrington now)

BBC says 'outside the UK'
Seems like a golden opportunity missed, we could have loaned them Ponticelli in exchange.

Why spend money we dont have on someone on we dont need. He's to old to.be development project and we potentially have better younger players. How many in Bremang get a similar level?
