Match Thread Leamington match thread (1 Viewer)

First half
Keeper not tested but stated on line a couple times when he should have come.
Mcfadzean and rose not a lot to do. both decent on ball. Pask looks good going forward. McCallum decent but easily beaten in air.
Allen and Eccles running the middle. Allen looks to be excellent signing. Shipley working hard and took goal well. Jobello 4 decent crosses...not sure yet re ability of either to turn players. Good movement by jobello, kasteneer and Chaplin.

Second half
Keeper only tested once. Came for a punch and connected ok.
Hyam and Kelly pick of second half. Dabo didn’t look as assured as pask. Mason ok. Ngandu looked busy and will push at least for bench. Hiwula‘ Scott’s touch poor...a little rusty. And Baka also. Baylis didn’t really show. Good to see max back on the pitch.

All in all a decent workout with some signs that the team will be more forward thinking than the first half last season. Will reserve judgement on the defence until it’s tested.

I thought he played well and was a threat. Didn’t realise he was 22. Decent no risk signing for them.

Colby Bishop is it? Every time I was listening to away games he tended to score for Leamington. Seemed pretty prolific, half-expected us to have a look at him at some point (we may well have done so).

That’s him. Big lad for 22.

Danny Newton, Courtney BR who we had anf now this lad.that i can remember, but i think there was another one too. Looks like they have their model right for that level. If he does well they'll probably get a few more scouts up there.

Yeah Colby bishop seemed to score over half of Leamingtons goals last season, it became a bit of a running joke on CWR.
“Colby Bishop has scored yet again for Leamington”
