Not sure if this has been posted, but, just heard on C&W that Leamington Archery Club are being made homeless due to the Pests' training centre at Old Leamingtonians.

    The charm offensive continues then...

I thought they were supposed to be doing up an existing training ground belonging to a rugby club?

They really don't give a shit about anyone else do they.

You dont want to piss them off, especially if they have cross bows.

I'm fairly sure they've produced an Olympian or two. I have no interest in the sport, but it's sad, nonetheless.

No it isn't. It's fucking disgraceful if true and they don't find them suitable premises to use. Bastards.

Have the council / sport england not said anything? Usually they only grant permission if an alternative is found for things like that.

Looks like its a decent standard. Can't see anything online about them having a new location to move to.

Don't think they need to worry, the trading ground will probably never happen.

No plans been submitted to the council yet have they?

They apparently issued an ITT for a building contractor (my mate works for a company who was looking at it), which is rather strange considering they'd got no approved plans against which anybody could realistically submit a tender

I expect there's been a lot of inside stuff going on with the council in WDC Towers prior to submitting a proposal formally.
After all, it's how Wasps usually work, isn't it?
