We would need nearer 50m to get rid of the scum ruining our club :blue:

Didn't Otium just buy CCFC for £1.5 Million? If so that is the market value surely...but I suppose they have to want to sell.

I think we don't have to spend a penny more.
If NOBODY attends matches at Northampton and we attend an alternative event either in Cov centre, Ricoh or outside Sixfields how long before the Football League would act to remove golden share or SISU would exit?

Great idea, resulting in expulsion from the league and staring in mid combination division 2.

Like I said in another thread ,Operating Last year would come out somewhere near Breakeven.:thinking about:

Yep, last year you're probably right mainly due to big away cup ties, but the previous years they have been here they were undoubtably covering losses.

Yeah, fuck it, lets just legitimise SISU Scab FC in Northampton instead, eh? It'll be awesome

If you're looking at the Trust to achieve the same, you're having a laugh!
Only someone like Hoff could help & he didn't outbid Otium, must be a good reason!
They could give you CCFC for free but you would still need 70 million & then how would you fund the club?
Trust me, the Trust don't have 70 million, lucky to muster 70p amongst them!

Sisu scab FC? So anyone who goes to Northampton is a scab?

Sisu might sell in 6 months and we get brought back, get expelled from the league there's no coming back.

This is precisely what I have been saying all along! This is why they stopped even trying to raise funds, and instead began simply increasing its membership! They started out, their sole purpose they claimed was to be as a last resort when all other means of buying the club failed!

I stated from day one the entire premise of a group like this buying the club, a club arounbd £50 million in debt was ridiculous! I explained that just buying the ownership rights is one thing, but then you have running costs. All of this was ignored, and so you get the trust trolls going on and on about how I don't know this, and how I am talking BS. Roll on a year or two and low and behold everything I said would happen has happened! It is nothing to do with insight, but merely common sense!

If a club owes £70 million, and you pay back 10p in the pound, you have to pay £7 million! If you want 20% ow that, then you pay £1.4 million! This is basic maths! Yet the clique just never got this! So instead of fulfilling their stated goals, they waste money on joining supporter's direct, and change the wording of their membership virtually word for word as every other member of supporter's direct (just look at pompey's wording - is essentially the same)! So instead of following their own goals, they are now following supporter's direct template. Despite the fact this blueprint not representing the needs of the members or the stated goals of the clique! After all even if they did manage to raise this money, they will have to find immense amounts just to build the club. It is a hopeless task run by an incompetent bunch of self centered egotists!

So we end up with the ridiculous situation of a group representing less than 10% of the fans of coventry city demanding 20% of the club! And they wonder why people are fed up with their failed stunts and trying to take over every and any campaign as their own, in the belief that they will raise their numbers and so increase their influence.

The reality however is that they really only have less than 20 active members. Hence you get 15 people turning up to protests, and only 30 to their AGM! They had their chance and they blew it. Every time they appear in the public now is nothing more than a slap in the face for real fans!

The trust has betrayed its own ideals and such has betrayed the fanbase of coventry city. The sooner this group of scum are no more the better

The football authorities are too cowardly to bear the worldwide bad publicity.

Worldwide bad publicity??? We're league one Coventry city not Champions league participants like Rangers. No one outside ccfc fans particularly care what happens to us.

Yes, that's how I feel about it. Not one CCFC fan should attend whilst we are playing in Northampton. Those that do are being selfish and/or ignorant.

To say that not attending would result in us being expelled from the league is bullshit of the lowest order. What are you basing this theory on?

The 'i'm a real fan/better fan' old chestnut.

Of course it's not bullshit, if we can't fulfil fixtures we get expelled from the league. And I was answering a post questioning how long until the football league takes back the golden share due to us having insufficient funds. No golden share = no right to play in the league.

I'd rather give Sisu my quid, cos it would pay the player representing CCFC. Nothing against the trust, but they have no realistic purpose for me. I respect they follow the same team as me & am also broken hearted at the fast demise of our club!

Do you trust SISU to use your money to pay players or are you the one who is happy paying their £2.6 million per annum maladministration fee?

Bullshit, I'm not claiming to be a better fan...there's no comparison as anyone who goes is not supporting the club.

How do we fail to fulfil fixtures?!? Thought you said SISU have been propping us up for years?! Sorry, you're talking utter shite pal.

Anyone who goes isn't supporting the club? Surely they are both financially and support the players on the pitch. I probably won't go, but I won't be calling anyone a scab who chooses to do so.

Yes, sisu have funded losses - are you saying that's not true?

For me those that only go to away games are 'having their cake and eating it', not putting money into the club but quite willing to go an support a sisu funded team.

And actually I was replying to this.....

I said if the football league remove share mid season, we'd probably be expelled from the league as we wouldn't have the right to play in the league as we'd have no golden share.

Making their decision at this point critical to future existence ,Its a no brainer in that scenario.

I don't know jack! Other than Sisu are still keeping CCFC alive, but only just & the life support could soon be switched off.
The disease, Richardson/Robinson et al infected the club with is fast spreading & Dr Sisu are running out of ideas!
