They submitted the letter as a formal objection to the planning application, they've followed the process they needed to. Speaking at the committee is too late. The effective decision makers are the council's planning officer not the committee.

Submitted late. Does it have to be considered at all? We had the opportunity to make a relevant point today that is considered, as long as it's relevant. For whatever reason it wasn't.
So to sum up. We've submitted two letters both after a deadline to be considered, were granted an audience at the meeting despite this giving us the opportunity to make a relevant statement and didn't make a relevant statement.
All things considered you'll forgive me for questioning how serious the club are taking this.

In an article looking the victim, I'd have personally pinned it on Wasps. "We are at the mercy of others, it isn't our decision if we stay or not" or something like that.

Well, my stance is you do the negotiation. You sit down, talk, let Wasps put the offer on the table.

They got the help for the letter, where it isn't restricted to 3 minutes and a couple of paragraphs in a paper.

When you have one opportunity to make a relevant argument you should make it. They had the relevant information, they paid an independent expert to get it, they had the opportunity and then chose not to use it at the opportune moment and not only do you not question why you attack those who have the common sense to question why.

They're basically doing a SISU on SISU. Distressing them to the point of no return so SISU will have no negotiating leverage at all. They don't have a lot now...As I have said. Wasps will acquire CCFC without actually having to do anything.
Won't be worth anything, maybe liquidated, but they will have all the facilities in place to just pick us up and run with us.
This will happen when Sisu have exhausted the legal process and will probably be better for us if they actually win it.

CCFC will not die - if the worst comes to the worst the name of the Club is the only asset...they will sell it. BUT I have said ever since they bought the Ricoh that they will also buy CCFC because it makes so much more sense...2 Clubs in one stadium...doubles the usage roughly. They get more return for their investment - & there is definitely as much money for them in a half decent Championship club than a Premiership Rugby Club.They aren't doing it to SISU, they are doing it to CCFC....
If CCFC dies, SISU just stroll away back to London and carry on.
Nobody seems to have an issue with that though, as it isn't a stadium management company....
