I watched the England U21s v Slovenia U21s, and to say it was poor would be a huge understatement. Horseshoe formation, players tapping it to each other around the half way line ad infinitum. It was so tedious.
I was chatting to someone who has watched the new Liverpool signing Wirtz, and apparently he is everything that the England team aren't (a sort of German Gazza reincarnation). Nice to know that not all players have had their 'flair' coached out of them.
