Rule one of interviewing politicians should be "Get the bugger to answer the question" (or in fact any interview come to think of it)

You're absolutely right. He can't answer a single question without something designed to put a position forward for the JR.

The position for the JR is clearly laid out.

Poor meek businesswoman Joy. Was happily minding her business running a football club. when the nasty ruthless Council decided they were going to take series of steps to force her to sell her business at less than what it is worth.

( ironically has this not happened whilst she was trying to buy ACL for less than it is worth via a series if actions to devalue ACL? )

i'd love to see Paxman interview Labovitch live in a TV studio over CCFC's state of affairs, car crash telly at its best. Shame it would never happen.

Just how much is a business loosing £ 7M a year (most likely more now) and £ 45M in debt (most likely more now) actually worth? Perhaps grendull would be kind enough to ask his accountant, he enjoys a good joke apparently.

You got £10-25k? http://www.primeperformers.co.uk/profile/jeremy-paxman/

How much was the Trust's fighting fund? It'd be worth every penny

I'm an avid watcher of question time and i can remember Labour ministers on there during their 2nd & 3rd terms still blaming current issues (at the time) on John Majors goverment. Perhaps that was under Labovitch's advice to his good budy Tony Blair

It's no different now. 4 years in it's all Gordon Brown's fault.

Slimeballs, the lot of them (New Labour and the Tories - not sure there's much difference mind)[/QUOTE

It is a policy used by anybody with responsibility, who cannot cope with the job in hand and has failed to address the issues in question.

There is a difference between stating this is what is wrong and this is my solution rather than saying it's all their fault. If you are very good at something you take credit for it and let other people make judgements on others. People who are not very good tend to rely on, look the people before me were terrible because they aren't normally there to defend the situation.

The impression I got that was the reason the original paper application was thrown out.

Yes it was

Now they just get to put the meat on the bones of that same argument.

Quite a strange one for me really as ethically I don't think they should win.

However I actually think if they do it will be quickest we will be rid of them.

I think they will ask the judge to be allowed to seek compensation.

If the compensation is high enough to get a lot of their original investment back I think they will sell Cov.

The debt does not go when a new government takes over. They have to claw back that inherited debt by cutting costs.

No they don't learn some economics.

Austerity contracts the economy and tax cuts to the rich reward those who hoard rather than spend their money, taking it out of the economy.

You should run a higher deficit during a recession (like we did in the 30s) to boost the economy, and pay down the debt in boom times (as we actually did).

Our finances were fine, you fell for the propaganda.

It is sad to see GMK has become a closed shop debating group, it used to be a forum for ideas, now it's like seeing a group of old men in the corner of a pub talking to each other and resenting everyone else.

I've heard this guff before - essentially the approach used by the Greek governement until things went splat...it's never too early to start paying off debts and stop spending!

I know why you highlight the Greek economy. However I thought you might have slipped the good old USA in there as well? ;-)

Can Grendel and OSB get together and use their collective energies to build a time machine and fast forward all members of this forum to the day after the JR and we can all feel re-energised again. Off to watch Mr Selfridge with her indoors now. A few episodes left, so I'm hoping he buys the Ricoh before the end of the series and puts us all out of our misery!! :thinking about:

Any way I'm very very drunk as I've been to Twickenham today (I may have mentioned this once or twice) I met Nick Knowles and it turns out we're related. And I can't work out if Labovitch's eyes are too close together or his temples are too fat. Discuss.

I think this ends with jr one way or the other. If sisu win, it's their game changer. If they loose, I think it's game over. I'm sure there will be plenty of happy people if we go to the wall.
