Mourinho has madrid playing serious football , despite losing to betis with almost a 4 XG that will be an interesting title race this year

Also , hes getting the best out of Mbappe , who will probably go on to have his best ever season there if he carries on

He's a great manager, better than Pep imo given achievements with just about everybody he's managed

Glad we have a thread on this. Cheers Evo.

Been following and going to watch Mallorca for years, but sadly they got relegated last season. Usually do a trip in December to Spain to watch a different team regardless. Did Sevilla last year and loved it.

Think Real Madrid look very good this season too.

Remains the only league I look out for bar England's.

Used to follow a bit of Serie A in the 80s/90s but got bored. France, Germany, Netherlands, Scotland dont float my boat.

Been to Malaga, Barca, Real Mallorca and Las Palmas for home games tied in with hols, would like to do more. Certainly both Madrid teams on my list.

Mourinho is the right manager for there - the majority of the players whilst great just like arseholes. I think you’ve got to have that aura to play for them.

He’s the type of manager who won’t stand for their shit and bash their heads together

Looks like the Spanish Coventry City Malaga are on the same points as us, although with two additional games played. Hoping they can stay up.

Can see Valencia finally being relegated this season. Feels like they've been circling the drain for a while.

Much more interesting than la liga imo

I can watch Parma Vs Genoa but I couldn't sit and watch levante be alaves or something

I keep up with la liga via highlights and the big games live but serie a I can watch 2-3 live games every weekend. Maybe it's the 90s nostalgia working for it to this day but just find it much more interesting

Love Jose tho and looking forward to classico

Same tbf. Serie A is my favourite league outside of the English leagues.
I like that it's a bit more of a basketcase with less funds available being played in old stadiums.

I've got a Spanish mate who's a Santander fan - like us,they've just been promoted to the top league too

We always message each other about our teams fortunes etc
