Unbelievable news! If I'm completely honest then I'm still sceptical until there is pen on paper, but it's a massive boost. Just hope it's not a joint ploy between his agent and the club to sell tickets for the club and give him a couple of weeks for a better offer to come in ... I know I'm a cynic just hard not to worry with our history. God I pray this is true.

What more proof do you want than King and Thorn both saying it? Hahaha

Season ticket sales will be booming now, if we sign a couple more and replace Westy than I can see average attendance reaching 19'000 next year - That's just the optimism talking but I can see it!

Should start a season ticket watch thread now so people can keep up to speed, recon they could start to really go now!

So happy, this shows some ambition by the board and hopefully may convince Gunnar and Westy to stay now as well.

He will be greeted to a hero's reception at the first game of the season I am sure.

Does anybody know how long the contract is for?

This is the biggest signing the summer for us

2 years apparently. I suspect mroe than anything, thats to have a year, then at least get a fee if we do have to sell him on or he gets bought from us after another good season.

It's so nice to have a star player show a bit of loyalty as well. He's been really taken in by the fans and now he's repaying us and to be fair, it has to be about us. There's not much else at this club to stay for!!
