No agreement to buy half the stadium.

Investors still interested, however it is now down to sisu to approach them.

For those who say keys has no idea and no inside info.

Lets test him on this, is there a deal agreed for 50% of the stadium or not.

why can we not test him on his previous claims that never happened?

How would he have inside info on the stadium deal?

Don dont you think that CCFC/SISU or the charity would announce a deal ? They have signed a heads of agreement, which is that they have agreed in principle but nothing has been signed in detail. Things like timing of payments, guarantees etc need to be agreed and checked before a deal is signed. This has been the situation for over 8 weeks now and things are moving slowly but not complete. On top of that the parties concerned have signed a non disclosure agreement which says that cant talk about it.

In a sense Keys is right the deal hasnt been signed but he is wrong in that there is no agreement - there is but only in principle

Had a lot on my plate at work recently so havent commented before on the "sale" .......... bottom line with the CT article was that there was nothing new in it that we were not aware of weeks ago........ it was sensationist writing as usual and councillors trying to make political capital also as usual.

If and when ownership of ACL (not the stadium) changes I am sure there will be a formal announcement.

Keys is as usual just stirring the pot for his own agenda

As Old says, they have agreed in principle but nothing has been signed.

He's being pedantic. And besides, how would he know anyway? Guess he heard it on Twitter.

Definately agree that Keys is just stirring things up, trying to get the fans against SISU. Clearly if there were investors involved something would have happened by now. Interesting point, is where were these investors 4 years ago before SISU took over? Even Hoffman must understand that considering the current economic climate, it's impossible for a hedge fund company to invest money, when their own stakeholders want a return on their investment.

IMO, the distractions caused by the likes of Keys last season and this have played some part in our downfall.

When the club needed to pull together and concentrate on backing the team on the pitch it created too many distractions. A lot of fans go their hopes up and assumed a takeover would go ahead. The focus turned from backing the team on the pitch and being the 12th man to trying to get the owners out.

As I said, it wasn't the only or major contribution but it played its part. After all that he said last season, I do not understand how anyone could take him seriously.

Keys is like a jilted brides best friend who never got to be a bridesmaid - bitter and ready to stick the knife in at any opportunity. He is a very minor player in the whole pantomime that is the ownership of CCFC and all associated companies and is best ignored as he has no more information than the rest of us, he just has a national platform from which to spout his pearls of wisdom.

What is interesting (and the Trust is trying to discover the answer) is why Mutton has done a 180 degree about turn on his stance - a few months ago he was vehemently against SISU owning the stadium etc and now he appears to be supporting it. How have they convinced him? Sold him the three year plan and how brilliant SISU will be for the team and the City or have they simply threatened to fold the team unless they get their way? Come on Cllr Mutton tell us the reason and maybe we will all buy in.

Yep - this is far more important than Keys' views; and is more likely to have an impact on our club's future.

keys might be in the know as to what hoffman is doing but he nor GH are in the know about CCFC/SISU/TF are doing .......... because they are not talking to him

Hoffman will be trying to put a deal together until he draws his last breath as he has genuine passion for the club and maybe he might put something together before that happens but if he cannot muzzle his yappy poodle then it shows a degree of unprofessionalism that I would not associate with Hoffman. The removal of Igwe makes a deal more possible and the acquisition of half the stadium would also point in that direction, as this and the paying off the mortgage on Ryton gives the shares SISU ( or whichever vehicle they have used) have awarded themselves in lieu of the debt/loan/debenture etc some value and makes investment from a third party more straightforward, or as straightforward as anything involving SISU can be. But from everything that has been said no offer or talks are ongoing with Hoffman so Keys is just prattling on trying to appear to have inside knowledge which is infact anything but.

Really bored of keys now, he rarely has anything concrete to say. It's just boring and causes more problems than the good I can only imagine he thinks he's trying to achieve!

He's just embarrassing himself IMO!

Has anyone on this forum ever spoken to Joy Seppala?

IF so, what does she look like? (looking forward to links) Why is SISU involved with CCFC at all? Does she even want to own a football club? Is she just here to make money out of property? (So last decade) And why, if that's the case, don't she just conclude the deal and piss off?

Keys weren't the problem last season. It was sisu's inability to run the club - selling any player that was worth a few bob(King, Juke etc), not paying rent, not filing accounts, lying to fans, creating shady companies for potential liquidation. Most knew Keys was a joker. It's amazing how quick fans forget now sisu seem to have thhe 'club's best interest' in mind. But this is just a show (i.e. new manager new loan players) so the ricoh deals goes through and they get their grubby hands on the stadium! surely?

..and what benefit will owning a portion of ACL be to SISU without a thriving football club?

No that's not true.

Just because things don't work out - doesn't mean people didn't do their best.

Look at your parents for instance.

I think the real value is in the surrounding land and being able to develop that.

thriving? take a look at the club - it is not thriving but yet they still want ACL shares, maybe if sisu weren't so inept or devious at running a football club (previous post) we would be in a much better position and any shared ownership in the stadium would be more profitable.

That is my point - you say all they want is their grubby hands on the stadium. By implication this implies they will get some commercial benefit without making the club succesful. I fail to see any commercial benefit and I assume they will own half of ACL not the stadium.

He said there is no deal agreed for half the stadium. SISU know it. The investors are still out there, they are still interested, however this time it will take sisu to approach them.
The fans are the only ones who can force sisu to do it.

He did not say anymore.

What is keys agenda then and what does he want to achieve, if this is not true?
