Looks like a Double Decker has gone into a house this morning. Avoid going by the Shepherd this morning.

That is literally just round the corner from me.

Seems bizarre how the bus ended up on that side of the road.

Imagine having that as an alarm clock.

Doesn't look as if anybody was injured badly which is good!

It's facing the wrong way. Looks like it was heading out of town. Therefore you would have expected it to go straight across the island.

Isn't it the Wallace roundabout?

Maybe a car pulled out from the road and the bus swerved?

Yep. Wallace roundabout. Wallace to the left of the roundabout in those pics.

Bus seems to be facing more as if it was heading past the Wallace from town direction.

Yeah, car could have pulled out from that Road to the left as the bus was going round it.

Was just there, my parents live on Norman place road
And from a photo posted on Facebook it looked like the house next door to them, but it was on the corner of Wallace rd

Thankfully no body injured too badly

I am too just round the corner, what road do you live on Otis?

I don't understand how the bus managed to crash into the house. If you know the route the bus was coming from Radford road way should have went straight over the roundabout past the Wallace and up towards the shepherd, he's ended up over the opposite side of the roundabout around to the right and ploughed into a house.

It literally did go straight across the Island.
Gobsmacked to see on the BBC local evening news my grandsons dad piping up.
James, big City fan who produces twist and shout fanzine.
I'm not sure if he avoided contact or took a contact from the bus as he was coming from its right.

As long as everyone's okay, which is most important, the homeowner/tenant will be due some hefty compensation!

Telegraph whipping up anger because Robbie williams tweeted about it because it had his ad on the side. Moaning he is using it for PR, while they are doing exactly the same with their tens of articles about it.
