They are hoping it's not a cracked bone

Assume arm or shoulder?

Hope it's not one that keeps him out too long. He's one player we just can't afford to lose.

I've got 10p on fractured collar bone. Gutting if he's out for any period as he's the player that makes Robins' game plan tick.

Yeah. We just can't play how we have in the last 3 games with Doyle in that role

Really hope this doesn't signify Doyle back in. Great servant but I'm afraid he's had his time.

It looked like Akinfenwa landed on his arm... if so I would expect multiple fractures.

Can’t imagine that would give us the battle and physicality required in the middle of the park.

Think it's 1 game a week now for quite a while . Will give him time to recover

But shame if he misses Scunthorpe for sure

Just catching up on today’s game, I hope Kelly’s injury isn’t to serious.

He’s been instrumental in our upturn in form and just starting to get a run of games from a stop start season with varying niggling injuries.

It looked like a collarbone. If that is the case it could be anything from 6-12 weeks. As others have said it’d be a big loss.

BUT if it’s gonna happen it’s the best possible time with transfer window now open.

I notice Andy Turner thought it was his elbow which can heal a lot quicker.

If it’s his arm can’t we strap him up and stick him on anyway?

Hasn't MR came out and said it's his elbow?

Left the ground in a sling (Black eye also). Lets hope its nothing serious. Only worrying thing is that he is not the type of player who goes off unless its serious.

Both him and Doyle went for a ball in training. Only one result!

Agree with everyone stating it will be a big loss as we look a lot more balanced with him in the side. One glimmer of hope would be Messi broke his arm earlier in the season and was only out for about 3 weeks. Obviously this could well be dependent on what Kelly has actually injured, but here's hoping it's not as serious as feared.

I was speaking to someone yesterday and I’m sure they said it happened in training. Could be wrong I suppose.

It might have been a different one, Doyle clattered him the last home game just after he came on.

The difference is Liam Kelly is a good player but also human.

And Kelly isn’t the 5th best player in the world.

Be a shame for him to be out long term, just when it looked like he was making things happen!

Hasn’t had much luck this Christmas period - head injury, arm injury - Doyle really wants his place back doesn’t he!
