What have we signed?
Injured in pre-season (two separate injuries I think)
Played about a total of 45 minutes since the start of the season
collected 3 yellow cards (2 of which turned into a red)
scored a top class goal
All in 45 minutes
We have one hell of a player if we can get him under control

Next week he is saving a penalty, before then going on to jump over the barriers and Kung Fu kick a 8 year old Philipino boy in the chest when he asks for an autograph.

You just going to stand there and let him do that to your partner?

That made me think of Cantana. (not the 8 year old Philipino boy, the kung Fu kick)

Are we appealing the red card?

I know the slide in was excessive, but he was never at risk of serious injuring Pompey's player. He had already lost momentum by the time "contact was made".

Yellow card challenge imo.

I thought it was a straight Red? As in Kastaneer's.

Edit : sorry, didn't realise he'd already been booked 6 mins before!

I think it took the ref a while to get the red out, so the yellow could easily have been missed.

He just needs his passion controlling and directing.
I know this sound ridiculous, but I think we'd of lost that game without the red cards. They seemed to inspire us, while Portsmouth switched off.

Can’t say he didn’t commit to that second challenge

Obviously you can get away with that kind of thing in foreign second divisions

Was reckless and a challenge worthy of a yellow card. Just not when you’re already on one!

The first challenge was a nonsense booking.

I imagine it won’t be unnoticed by Robins that we have a bit of work to do with him.

Reminds me a little of Edge. Good build for a footballer (bit of a lump) but damn ass clumsy!

We heard from Badlan that this guy was a coup and easily capable of playing above this level and on his brief cameo's I think we can see why. Capable of absolute magic with his feet but also a bit ill-disciplined and a maverick. Could be Bright turned up to 11!

Nice to see him wanting to make an impact, but it needs to be more controlled. If we can do that I think he could be very special.

That turn he did when he actually got a touch took about 2 or 3 of their players out of the game.

I think the guy has shown glimpses of absolute quality. Hopefully he settles down a bit once he gets a run in the team. I think he's like a new puppy at the minute. Too eager to please.

I wouldn’t be looking to take the fire out the player but he needs to be channeled to use it correctly.Im sure robins will speak to him once he’s stopped sliding.

Yeah, Godden should have played the 1-2 with him there instead of going the other way

Scored a few in preseason and scored a wonder goal v Rovers.

Evidently not a terrible player.

Judging players after a couple of appearances is stupid. Let’s wait until he’s played a few games.

The game needs characters. How often do we whine on here about players being non existent in a game or bottling tackles. In 20 minutes so far he's scored a blinder (BBC wrongly claims "More than 30 yds) and earned himself two yellows and a red. Imagine if he'd played against Bolton. They would have been going down like skittles. Legend to be. I don't care if we finish every game with 10 men.

I think it was Exeter he came on and just steam rollered into their player.

Then took a booking for just taking out one of their players when he couldn't catch him.

All well and good but just not when he's on a booking and we have had a player sent off.
