Wright was never a LW, he was a striker who was underperforming who we moved to LW and he started to get better.

At the start he was pants and everyone was talking of sending him back to Turkey in January. It was the role change where he started firing

If we end up with KKH and Toffolo & sell MVE, that is brilliant business.
Get Doyle as well (personally can't see it though) and we're ready to have a real go for the automatic spots this season.

On average misses a third of a season, likely once he comes back from his usual injury it then takes ages to get them back up to speed

yea he has a bad season, yes there are injury concerns - BUT a fully fit sheaf is a huge bonus, of course the balance is can we get that, BUT there is a risk trying to replace him, settling in, not working out etc - real tough one, a lot down to him and his mind set also.

It’s interesting as I don’t think sheaf was ever really fit last season, so hard to judge fully.

Has it actually been that effective? I can only remember the one Torp goal from it.

It's certainly caused headaches. Enough for Sunderland to move their advertising boards at least. I think it has certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons.
