Despite the nonsense accusations you'd struggle to find many posts of mine defending sisu
Lots of "luvvies" on here who support our council and the treatment of our club.
So we know that Doncaster, Ipswich, forest, Swansea are all playing in council owned stadia and stoke bought the ground of a council and a regeneration charity.
So - who out if a of us got the worst deal?
Aren't some of those old grounds that got sold back to the council for next to nothing?
Looking at the details of the deal PBoro announced recently with their council SISU should be snapping ACLs hand off with an offer of £400K a year.

£150k a year is a reasonable deal. In fact it's bloody good if you compare with similar standard stadia.
It is. Why wasn't it, or a proportionately lower rent, offered in 2005?

Well we all know it should have been. Doesn't excuse not accepting it when it was offered though.
The rent wasn't to high as It was agreed by both parties. In fact the more expensive rent option was taken up by the clubs owners at the time
It is not up to ACL to approach CCFC to renegotiate for less. When ACL were approached they agreed for the club to pay less.
Where exactly is the issue?
because nobody asked for it through the proper negotiation channels
The report had revealed that the club are in talks with the Arena Company, which owns the new stadium, with a view to lowering the £1 million rent to £500,000 while they are in the Championship and rising to £1.5m if and when the club gain promotion
funny i thought several have answered already.we all know the rent was too high we all know SISU should of paid it while negotiating a better deal.we all know that you and grendel are sisu loving tossers especially you:blue:

Answer his question, particularly in relation to Swansea
PWC report via thisissouthwales.co.uk said:"financial position of SSMC remains precarious and the current revenue sharing arrangements are considered unsustainable". It also reveals that Swansea Council made a further loan to the SSMC in 2005, for £2.6 million, which it later wrote off, even though auditors "were not aware of any reason why such a loan could not have been sought from a commercial lender".
Not quite true.
From June 2006 EGM.
oh no, not more factual evidence
interesting that the protagonist starts a thread he knows will piss people off then goes away. Also not a SINGLE post on a 24 page thread on the JR being kicked out of court.
On the Doncaster ground, i don't know the rent they pay but it holds 15231, half the size of the Ricoh. it is also shared by Doncaster rugby league club. so not really fair to but on a comparison list is it. as the rugby club would be paying their far share of rent too

Don't think they pay anything now. May be wrong.
I didn't agree with the no further negotiations policy. And the move to try to force us into admin has proved disastrous. ACL have a high percentage of blame in this mess too.
I owe everyone an apology. Clearly my A grade in English language all those years ago has failed me. I cannot phrase a question properly as no one has answered it.
So I give you 5 clubs;
Coventry
Doncaster
Swansea
Ipswich
Forest
As an example of a club who has had the opportunity to repurchase I also offer stoke city
So out if the clubs above on FPP rules which has the worst deal.
Rather than diatribe just name the club, no explanation needed. Not too hard is it?
