And when in winning positions, no changes to shore up defence and hang on to the lead and see out the game. Always still goes on the offensive and getting found out. Very strange
Exactly this. It’s not like it’s a basketball game where the other team will score.

We got into this position because for four months teams were so scared of conceding to us they shut up shop. I think teams have realised that if they give it a go now, our defence will fold. The frustration is that it’s the same defence we’ve known is shaky for a couple of seasons now and have done relatively nothing to fix it.

For me it is a 100% mental thing. Lampard has shown signs of pressure in recent weeks with his defensive interviews, and the players keep making mistakes every single match.

Kitching and JDS need to come out of the defence. You've then got the two forwards Wright and Simms who are just too soft. They aren't seemingly up for a scrap. The midfield are also bang out of the form (honourable mention for Eccles who is doing his best).

I have been saying this since before Christmas but every team we play seems to want it more than us. That is what is pissing me off the most.

2 seasons ago when Leicester won the league they had a horrible run and some fans were calling for the managers head …. They got through the bad spell and won the league …. It’s not that unusual
Pretty sure in their horrible run it did not get back to "top on goal difference".

I was talking about throwing away points from winning positions. How many times did Leicester do that?

Also, Leicester’s poor form wasn’t until way later in the season and I’m not sure they ever came that close to getting caught.

The saddest thing for me is that there are so called fans on here who enjoy us losing more than winning. They delight in it. Every opportunity to criticise they take it. Toxic everyone of them.

How do you think people should react to 3 points from 21 away and 12 dropped from winning positions?

I think if your team are top of the league and they need your support you provide it. You try to play your part. You don’t become part of the problem.

What do you mean play your part? At the game, certainly.
But this is a forum for discussion, and what's going on away from home is a calamity, it's as simple as that. Do you expect people to say different?

I don't think they do to be fair but I understand your view. Tonight I am feeling insanely negative, and for me, and maybe others, its a combination of 25 years of crap that no other fan base has had to go through.

The last few years have been great but with the Luton, man utd and Sunderland games, we couldn't have had 3 more heartbreaking ends.

Then this season, finally it's happening. We are thrashing teams, we are miles clear at the top, and just like that, the gap is gone, our form is gone, and it just feels like it is happening again whilst boro, hull, Ipswich whoever, who have all had Premier league runs far more recently than us, come good again

No issue with considered critique on tactics etc but the vitriolic slagging off of players, owners, coaches etc isnt support it’s just being entitled.

I hate losing as much as anyone but we now have hope, we own our stadium, we are top of the championship, we are spending millions on players …. It hurt much more in the years of constant decline
Nothing will hurt more than this. This second half of the season has the potentail to be the biggest failure since we got relegated from the Prem.
