Good luck with your 10p bet. SISU will be after you for their share of the winnings.

Nothing at all wrong in placing it. You obviously wouldn't want us to go down over a fiver. Softens the blow a tad though. Will fund the medicine to drown your sorrows.

8/1 is lousy odds. There are two bets you can have where the results would send us down. Two teams have to win and the other one either draw or win. If you did both of them bets both are over twice the price. The draw is something like 26/1 and all wins are 17/1 IIRC

I am a bad fan as I had a bet before the season started that we would go down.

I don't think it makes somebody a bad fan for betting against, it makes losses a bit easier to take.

Already seen the various selections at the higher prices, but some people might not want to be bothered with them, seen crewe crawley and notts win at 19.5/1 .. surely not.

Bet with your head and not your heart. If I had only bet on us to win this season I would be seriously down.....although if only betting on draws would be up.

Bet with your head and not your heart. .

good advice that I normally follow.....however on the day it was announced that City were coming back to the Ricoh, I was swept along on the wave of euphoria & pretty much emptied my betfair balance on us going up......

..Its taking some serious laying & hedging to get back into the black for the season.....
