Half decent keeper would of got us a point today by doing the simple things well , may of well been a 0-0
Because we wouldn’t of scored if we played till this time next week , but watching flappy burge costing us again I’ve simply had enough of him!! Useless shower of shit

The Doncaster manager went up to Burge after the game and dropped the hint to go out with the Doncaster players to say thank you....

Burge picked up on the hint but then sadly dropped it....

I hope for his sake he has a deal already signed somewhere as any manager that was going to sign him must be having second thoughts.

I am glad that he doesn’t have the fall back of an offer from here it’s time to move on.

Ok I’m home now and calmed down a bit , might of been a touch harsh but he is still fucking useless!!!!

I'm not sure why anyone would single out any particular player for criticism after that performance.

Has anyone known a keeper to make so many mistakes in one season costing goals. Every keeper makes a couple of howlers but its getting to the point where its every game with Burge.

The first goal yesterday he was left in no mans land when they crossed it and the second one well just another fuck up.
The strikers particularly Chaplin have cost us with missed chances in the first half of the season but Burge has cost us at least eight gMes I can think off with comical errors. He must have a cracking pick up coming in at the bookies

Same Clive Eakin that said yesterday: “Cardiff have got one back, but it won’t be enough, Crystal Palace still lead by 3 goals to 2 so that will relegate...erm... Crystal Palace”

?!?!

Unfortunately making a big mistake in every other game, definitely time for a new keeper.

What a contradiction your post is , it’s all burge’s fault for his failing on that goal, yet the whole rest of the team can’t be blamed for their combined failings in not being able to score in a week LOL

The thing I’ll be glad of when/if burge goes ,is the silence of the witch hunt ... well for the first few weeks of the season anyway!

Think we all know that if we have a slow start to next season, Shippers. Ch(r)aplin, Bakoyoko, MR will all be lined up (with Max having his own Grendel section)

4th: We conceded 3 more, scored 29 less

5th: We conceded 7 more, scored 26 less

6th: We conceded 4 less, scored 22 less

7th: We conceded 8 less, scored 17 less

6 out of the 8 figures above suggest Burge wasn’t the problem

He’s hardly faultless but by no means the main problem. I wonder what most of the rest of the league are saying about their keepers.

Come on CJ you travel around watch England so you watch some real quality , how you can still back burge is beyond me .
Catastrophically bad keeper at this level

He has literally said that Burge isn't faultless.

But we haven't scored enough goals. On average a team over the course of the season will concede over a goal per game. We only conceded about 8 more than a goal per game?

The strikers and wingers have missed chances galore all season. And are the real reason that we haven't been closer to the plays offs.

It's much easier to have a scapegoat than to give collective responsibility to players that should have found the back of the net.

Burge needs replacing- as much for him as us. He was never given a fair chance by supporters after his horror show against Peterborough a couple seasons back, and he has gone through some highs here but rarely bounces back from the lows, perhaps down to constant criticism. No matter what its one mistake too many and let's hope we have 2 replacements lined up for summer.

These basic mistakes must weigh on Burge. He must be thinking ‘shit’ as another cross comes in. Time to move on Burge.

I just pity the new keeper, whoever he is, because we (apparently) haven't had a top class keeper since...............we were a top class/league club.
Even if, by all miracles, we manage to sign Stockdale, I can guess what will happen if/when he makes a couple of mistakes.
