I recorded the game yesterday and noticed something I did not like. McFaz in the 84th min had the ball at feet, Kelly was in space in a position to be effective on the attack in the opposition half. He was screaming and waving his hands for a pass. Mcfaz decided to ignore his captain and try some ridiculous Hollywood pass that went out of play.
I do not care how much of an a leader mcfaz thinks he is, he is not out captain or our best ball player. Both of those accolades belong to Kelly.

Hope Kelly had a word and Mcfaz was not being disrespectful as for me this would be an issue. Rose and Hyam would seemingly be our best two CBs on thr books currently.

He’s a cracking signing at this level. Delighted to have him on board. He will be captain when kelly gets injured.

Think it’s just Rose left now as the only new player who has appeared and hasn’t been critised for their performances in first two games

Agree with ccfcway - think he is a rock - 2 games 2 clean sheets.
Keep it up McFaz!

Tbf I criticised Rose a bit after the first game. I thought he looked decent but was slightly off the pace.
There. We’ve completed the set.

That’s the full house then. The only decent signings are the ones who haven’t played. If they are out all season they will be legends

I think you and many others miss read my point. I was not criticising the player or his ability. Your "sack the lot robin's out response is very childish and hysterical for I assume from the picture is a grown up?" Reading much of your work on here I suspect that pic might be of your dad on reflection.

My point is much deeper than the one that people seem to have interpreted me to have been making.

All squads have personal dynamics within them, players are more friendly than others with each other etc. I am saying Mcfaz, in my opinion, could be a frustrated captain and bitter not to hold this accolade and responsibility. Being a loud talker and somone who shouts a lot does not make you a leader. Some leaders lead by example and say one or two words to people and it gets the most from them. Not everyone responds to the command and control approach. Good leadership is more subtle than that and shouting while it works for some deflates others.

It's a hunch but i think Mcfaz could be as damaging to morale as he is posative. Ignoring Kelly on the pitch could have been something he did as he felt best placed to play the low percentage pass that went nowhere or was a snub? Too many leaders of a self appointed nature are not helpful and from what I have seen in the media McFaz could be in that category.

For the record I am posative about the side and will not be judging the team until 8 games in when we have all our signings playing.

Well I would respectfully say the same about you given that response. I am talking about his squad wide influence. Behind the scenes not only the 90 mins we see each week. I will look out for his on pitch coaching am sure the two professional players you mention would fall apart without a loud voice in their ear!

I saw that too. I think you're vastly over inflating the significance of a L1 centre back wanting to pump the ball long in the 84th minute of a game we should have been winning.

So it’s a big huge helping of ‘reckons’ and ‘thinks’.
Brilliant.

And you are trying way too hard to sound clever. Of that I’m posative.

You could be right and my frustration at the really poor choice at that stage in a game we should have been winning possibly clouded my view As I could not work out why he ignored our best ball player in huge amounts of space.

Could you elaborate and possibly cite the reckons and thinks fest you purport my words to be on this personal opinion led forum.
As for your little dig about trying to sound educated or clever, as you put it. It's how I communicate and not put on in the slightest. Sorry if this offends you or makes it hard to read my perspective on things.
Ironically, I have throught the same for many weeks about the way you come across thinking you must be dumbing yourself down for an adult who clearly has the ability to use the internet.

I didn't say I sounded it either. I said this is how I communicate and sorry if it's hard to understand. Written communication has never been my strong point due to the d word that is impossibly hard to spell

You can rewatch the whole game on ifollow if you have a subscription. If you have the right setup you'd be able to record that feed.

Seems a lot of effort as the games stay online. Not exactly a game you'd want to watch over and over again.
