I didn't intend to cause another split, I just wanted to see if there was any correlation between Coventry people going/not going and Non-Coventry people going/not going. Clearly, it's a miracle that I was ever allowed in the 'home supporters' area of Highfield Road or the Ricoh for all that time. Yet if you look at the polling so far, we 'outsiders' are a significant minority and we are no more or less inclined to go in Sixfields than any Coventry-born supporter. Where we live, where we were born has nothing to do with how we feel and CCFC is just as much our club as it is yours.

My kids are Welsh, my wife is Welsh, but I'm not, and never will be. Nobody can support a Welsh team like a Welshman. Catching my drift yet? Fortunately, in my experience most in Coventry & Warwickshire are more inclusive in their attitudes; I had distant relatives from S Wales so I know exactly what you mean about that anti-English sentiment. Coventry being one of the most diverse cities in the UK, not just multi-ethnic but with many 'English foreigners' like myself, is better than that. Every population has its exceptions though and individuals like 'valiant15' will always be with us.
