Just a Quick Poll for you (1 Viewer)

I didn't intend to cause another split, I just wanted to see if there was any correlation between Coventry people going/not going and Non-Coventry people going/not going. We are all cov fans at the end of the day. So far the poll has proved me wrong, but like I said it would be nice for more sixfield attendees to vote.

I wasn't implying that you were intending to cause another split, it's my appeal to everyone to stop squabbling amongst ourselves and at least show some respect if we can't achieve unity. The proportions of Sixfields fans voting (about 10% so far) is not totally dissimilar to the statistical population as a whole (15%?), so the conclusions about whether those living outside Coventry are more likely to attend should be broadly valid if enough people vote.

Where we live, where we were born has nothing to do with how we feel and CCFC is just as much our club as it is yours.

Not Cov, Out Cov - 9% attend

*everything rounded to 0dp

Considering the second option would include expats who couldn't attend as out of the country, which if taken out would bump up the middle figure a bit, that's pretty even across the board and tallies with attendance figures.

Shows how close a small sample size on a survey like this can be pretty accurate.

Also that no fucker who comes to live in Coventry and stays seems to support us!

Fortunately, in my experience most in Coventry & Warwickshire are more inclusive in their attitudes; I had distant relatives from S Wales so I know exactly what you mean about that anti-English sentiment. Coventry being one of the most diverse cities in the UK, not just multi-ethnic but with many 'English foreigners' like myself, is better than that. Every population has its exceptions though and individuals like 'valiant15' will always be with us.

Some of the points on here seem a bit bizarre. The lads I go with (or used to) are no less or more passionate about the club than myself. I left Cov at 9 (that's age I left and not the time of day), another lad lived there til his early 20s, another is from Leam, and another heralds from Daventry... my old man (God rest) was a Dubliner.. Perhaps I'm missing something.
