What is the deal with this? I thought it was strictly for families yet I saw today grown men without kids swearing at 10-11 year olds around them.

Swearing AT them?
Not sure how it works tbh. But I guess you can buy a ticket for anywhere, and still sit in a different block
When I saw this I read it as "Swearing (Andy Thorn) them?" initially in my head :facepalm:Swearing AT them?

Yes, it was At them. Kids were making comments about Mcsheffrey and Baker not being very good and were told to shut the F*ck up
Wish I was there to witness that! I'd have told them how the kids were exactly right in what they were saying! Don't know how anyone can defend them, especially Sheffers
Just a shame, because the kid was obviously shocked and intimidated and didn't say anything for the rest of the game!
Another example of how some fans are just pure imbeciles!
I dunno but it's probably worth highlighting to a steward.
It's bad enough anywhere but in the Family area is shocking. Those kids might never go again.
It must have been his first match if he expected to go and not hear moaning. I would of not been bothered by it, football is a game of opinions and that's what makes it such a brilliant sport!
No it wasn't aimed at you...

Dunno if aimed at me, but no, not my first match, I've been going to Cov matches since 1977. The guy behind moaned cos I stood up & said he had a season ticket with his grandson, who was nowhere to be seen.
