What is the deal with this? I thought it was strictly for families yet I saw today grown men without kids swearing at 10-11 year olds around them.

I know some people get the free U 7's season ticket for there children even if they do not go, just to get the cheaper price for themselves

Yes, it was At them. Kids were making comments about Mcsheffrey and Baker not being very good and were told to shut the F*ck up

I thought that myself as I typed it! Even my phone must have thought that after I used 'AT' so many times when referring to Thorn as it didn't try and predict that I meant something else

Totally, you go to other parts of the ground and hear it alot worse but when you hear it that extreme in a place which is meant to be family friendly it is just ridiculous!!

I dunno but it's probably worth highlighting to a steward.
It's bad enough anywhere but in the Family area is shocking. Those kids might never go again.

A bloke behind me, on his own, had a go at me for standing up & blocking his view. I first stood up to remonstrate over another poor referee decision & he tapped me on the shoulder to say I am always blocking his view. I don't go to every game & sit in different seats when I do go, so not sure how this is so. The guy was as souless & had no passion, reflecting on what the Ricoh has become, but I am still full of passion for my team. I don't stand up loads. The next occasion I did was when we almost scored (he moaned again) & then finally for the goal. I tried my best not to stand again, although it was fairly easy! Am I in the wrong?

My little boy was upset at the debate we had, so to end it I shook his hand as I didn't want to fall out with a fellow fan, but I was insensed by his comments.

It was worse because the guy weren't even meant to sit there and moved there at half time, I hope the kids do go back because they were speaking sense about Mcsheffrey and Baker unlike some of our fans...

Where are the stewards, its pretty obvious the JSB section is for adult and kids and any adults only should be questioned :facepalm:

It must have been his first match if he expected to go and not hear moaning. I would of not been bothered by it, football is a game of opinions and that's what makes it such a brilliant sport!

can never understand why people go to the match and not expect others to be passionate or a little excited at times, the guy who sat behind you must be absolutely emotionless. If he doesn't want people to enjoy the game or try to add to or create an atmosphere don't sit in the stands with normal fans, go and sit upstairs with the plastics. Don't back down to these killjoys though because the Ricoh atmosphere is crap enough already

I always shout and clap really loud. But try very hard not to swear. The odd one slips out in the heat of the moment tho.
I have a guy of about 80 and a Dad with his daughter sat behind me and my Dad (not in the JSB) They know we aren't ignorant hooligans, just football fans that are passionate and get occasionally over excited.

Fwiw I thought Baker was ok yesterday too, but the rights and wrongs of opinion are not the matter in hand. Swearing in the JSB section is wrong and AT kids is completely wrong - end of!
Nothing wrong with a good rant and rave and although wrong anyhow, I think it is aceptable in other areas of the ground, but if you have to swear at kids then it says a lot about the person and their limited vocabulary.
Not sure I could hold my tone if it was ever aimed at my daughter and , the irony is that you really want to knock these morons out and get so incensed at their actions, but that hardly sets any better an example. If you challenge their behaviour, usually more verbals or a dust up will follow. As for telling stewards I think we don't need to encourage grassing either, so they tend to 'get away' with it. I guess we should just follow them to the loo and then beat the crap out of them!
