go to the ticket office, they will sort for you in terms of the seats I moved mine last year for a gameMy lad is having his 10 birthday party at the Ricoh (by which I mean he wants to take a few friends with him, so me and four lads - what could possibly go wrong? ) to the Barnsley game.
Our season tickets are at the end of a row with no spare seats next to them, so for peace of mind I would like to move our seats for one game and get three extra tickets all together.
Who would be the best person to contact at the club? Also, as this is a new thing for me (and him) it’d be nice to get something else done - like getting his name mentioned on the tannoy etc. Anyone got any other suggestions for what I could do?
Was going to take them to the family zone before the game (and nip off to down ten pints of UBU).
As my lad was born and bred in Birmingham (I blame the missus) it gives me a lot of pleasure that he is a Sky Blue through and through (love that he wears his kit to footy practice etc) and loves all things Coventry (never lived there you see - just kidding I’m a Cov lad myself) and none of his mates have any interest in City at all (2 Liverpool fans and 1 Arsenal), so it’d be good if I could make it a memorable day out for them all - and who knows maybe give them a soft-spot for the mighty Sky Blues!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone may have.
but if his dad was born "slippy sky blue" he may want a different one"At the same time they would be able to give you a name"
The lad is 10 M8 he already has a name lol!

Born Slippy was a song by Underworld that has a relevance to me, let’s leave it there!but if his dad was born "slippy sky blue" he may want a different one
Email Suzette.Johnson@ccfc.co.uk explain what you are looking for and she will no doubt get someone on the case. Dont forget to explain your willing to go to the ticket office but you find it difficult etc.
PUSB and enjoy the game.
Walkings an issue for me too after 10 pints of Ubu.So I should just contact the ticket office? Was hoping to avoid physically going in as walking is an issue for me, I should just email the ticket office? Can they arrange a birthday shout out you think?

But hopefully this should help for your lads birthday shout out.
Birthdays and Celebrations - Coventry City
Name out on tannoy - email the club. They were great when it was my son (and then my daughter's) first games - gave a shout out before and at half time.
I have a similar problem, trying to ensure kids are sky blue (they have always lived in Somerset), and the wife supports man u (though she has now been to more Coventry games)...so currently they support Coventry with man u as a 'second team.'
Hopefully, they will remain sky blue forever, friends down here are often Liverpool, man u and Chelsea.
Yeah - wasn’t planning on spending quite that much!I phoned up once to see if they could do birthday parties at the Ricoh in the bit where the mini football pitch was but they weren't allowedShame really because if they could let the kids in about 12, give them a burger, play a couple of games, see sky blue sam and then go into the jsb bit when it opens it could be a money spinner.
For a then 4 year old birthday party they offered me the board room for something like £500 for a couple of hours and nuggets and chips at £10 per kid with no external food allowed.

Like you say though, an opportunity not being fully taken. Maybe there isn’t enough money / demand to justify the hassle for them?
It would be a cracking party for a footy loving Cov fan, might be a bit pricey though? Coach, kit, hall hire, tickets, food...Would be good if CCFC had birthday party packages, they could link up with a sports centre. Have a coach go for them to play football for an hour, Sky Blue Sam, training top for the birthday boy, food ordered in and brand it up as CCFC. Would think a fair few would have them for their kids.

It's a good idea but we need to know where the football club will be playing permanently .I would like to take it off topic.I would love to know the feasibility of the old Rowley Club being bought and turned into a supporter club . We would be relying on match days for most of the revenue, but things like this could be done in style finishing at 10 to 3 and going over all together , plus weddings and forums(what happened to them).
Got to agree with this - parties (such as laser quest) cost a bit. We have soccerbox parties, so you get twenty kids, coach, football games and venue (school Astro), we provide food - everyone's happy!Nah would probably be not much different to laser quest or something if it was all done properly.
Give each kid a special sheet of vouchers like the JSBs get so they can pester their family to go, double it up as marketing at the kids who attend the parties.
Anyway, without going too off topic
