Sheffield United Football Club is aware of an incident over the weekend, which involved Jose Baxter.


This morning (Wednesday) he has been disciplined by the Club. Sheffield United will not comment further on this issue.

He was given a 5 month ban suspended for 3 years in the summer after he failed a drugs test with traces of ecstasy in his sample.

Will probably get a long ban if he's done something similar again.

It doesn't say suspended, neither does it say fine. It says no further comment at this time.

He missed there match at the weekend v Walsall so people are reading into it as a possible suspension, just speculating further here but either his absence at the weekend could be the reason for his disciplinary example, he went on a bender and failed to turn up for the match and is now being disciplined or his absence could have been the result of disciplinary action for a separate event.

It doesn't say suspended, neither does it say fine. It says no further comment at this time, so doesn't sound like matter closed and its an ongoing internal investigation.
