Injuries have always unfortunately stopped him progressing. Loved Willis, stayed when we got relegated to league 2 - could easily have left. Hope we give him a chance to learn his trade coaching

Apparently Willis wants to move down south to do kids coaching as his missus is from Essex

Come on guys can we not talk about ex players who play for Sunderland. it upsets a few stalkers on here who think they are biggy big bollocks

If its true that he has to retire the highlight of his career will be his goal at Wembley for us. That said I don't give a flying toss about this 'rivalry' with Sunderland, and wish he was still fit enough to play for them.
