Ricoh Arena...oh wait.
Jordan Clarke and CCFC fans are currently clashing on social networking site Twitter. Clarke has seemingly been minding his own business over the current board crisis and is going about his life as normal. Fans however don't agree with him posting his 'good day' on Twitter considering the current state of affairs.

I'll edit in screenshots in a minute. It's all getting a bit pathetic isn't it. Fans and players now arguing.

Apologies I can't put all the Tweets in order but I'm sure you can figure it all out :)

I read it on twitter earlier. Its built up tensions on both sides. After the incidents after the last game the players made it clear they dont understand how fans feel. Clarke's a young lad an more mature player might realise its not the best idea to get into twitter rows with your clubs fans. However, how can you expect anything else when you've got someone like Brody who his only job, it seems, is to play on twitter

Personally, I blame the bloke who questioned him having a good day.

Just because the board have lost it, doesnt mean Clarke has too.

Why should our players not be allowed to have good days?? Just cus the board rooms f****d up, doesnt mean the players shouldnt live their lives normally??

Jesus why is the Twitter layout so shit, i really don't get the exchange of conversation also i've seen Clarke in town a few times i wouldn't say he's cocky tbh although he does come over as a prick here and fair play to the cov fan for giving him some shit... but lets be honest Clarke's about 5'6 and built like something out of the pussy cat dolls, one punch it would be good night vienna! ;)

Funny that, his profile has suddenly gone?

That is no way to speak to fans, what a bellend! Maybe he should stop brap brapping and concentrate on his football!

Wouldn't think so with the swagger he has?

The amount of times I saw Kevin Thornton in town trying to kick off because the "white stuff" had made him invincible.

His Twitter page can be found here: Jordan Clarke (JordanClarke17) Twitter

Still seems to be working to me.

Personally I think it's a 50/50, Clarke quite rightly should be allowed to live his life as normal, but I do think he's response went a bit too far. He should understand his Tweets are followed closely by Coventry fans.

If I interacted with people who use my service at work like that I'd be in hot water.

Which ever way you look it's serious misconduct. Granted you can't prove it's him who entered those entries, but surely his place of work has a safeguarding document since they work with kids, and also a communications policy. If not I have worked out where I am going to make my fookin millions.

I agree with him to a point in that the fan is acting like a fool, is Clarke meant to be sat at home crying about it? As a city fan should you feel guility about getting on with your life today? On the other hand Clarke has to be big enough just to ignore the bloke, fans say daft things because we all care and when your emotions are running high you tend to say things you later regret.

Why do you agree with him? Bickering with fans who pay his wages. Typical mentality to the fans of the players. Weren't he one of the players having a mouth off to the fans last week after the Preston game

Thanks too most of u lot, I dnt mean to be arsey, but I'm always going to defend my self right? Anyway let's sort it out!! #PUSB!

I think he kind of knows he was wrong and I suppose he's shown a bit of passion there. Still don't agree with any of it. 1)The original Tweeter should have just let Jordan get on with his day, 2)Clarke should not of replied the way he did.

I suppose as long as everyone learns a lesson.

He's not a bad kid I have met him a coupe of times, at least he has a bit of passion unlike some of the wage stealers we have playing for us.

Well no the fans don't pay his wages, if we did we wouldn't have needed to sell out to this shower to cover the bills would we? I take the point your trying to make though.

Everybody is pissed off, he reacted poorly which he shouldn't have but he's very young. Again I go back to the point, he's allowed a life regardless of how the club is doing. It's only a job afterall.

Professional footballers should be banned from signing up to Twitter.

It causes trouble with fans, "2day i drove my expensive car around and had a great old time wid me bitches" it creates an even bigger void between the super rich and the working class.

They're also boring, thick twats. The world doesn't need to hear them, we just want to see them kick a ball good.

I'm sure if clubs could ban them they would, but some do-gooder probably would take it to court for infringing on their human rights or some other rubbish. My opinion is that it could be good and a way of keeping close to the fans now that they are on superstar wages and no longer go home on the bus with us or share a pint, but like all things it needs to be used responsibly and the real worry is like forums, texts, facebook and everything else, once you make a mistake in typing/writing, it's much more difficult to retract and back down. We also have to remember that they are young guys and guys with egos. Their family and mates will also be reading and who at that age wants to lose face? It's just unfortunate but hopefully he can put it down to experience and think a bit first in future.

that fan is being a moron he should never have done he was clearly looking for an argument, you have savage, ferdinand, ashley williams and so many more player son that comment about what there up to and where they are there was no need for that fan to start doing that he's a cov lad i went to school with him and played with him at 7 a side he's a nice lad he shouldn't have called him a prick but he was looking for that.

Seriously the fan was looking for an argument. we don't know whats going on with the club and I doubt he does either. and also if he is giving people shite back it shows he has passion, thats more than most of them do

Wouldn't be entirely surprised if for sme bizarre reason we're still paying part of it - that's how it works when you leave City :p

Why anyone would want to know what Jordan Clarke is doing in his own time is beyond me. I don't take much notice of him on the pitch let alone read his illiterate ramblings about which car he's going to take out for a spin today.

Geez fan hypocrisy at it's highest, all I've heard for years is "give the kids a chance" here's one who's made team and some gobshites are hitting him with a lynchmob mentality. If you want our players to mope about feeling sorry for themselves then match days will be a lot more ineffective than they already are.

Players need 'out' time to relax, take their mind of the fact that if it's still 0-0 at halftime against Watford, the 'faithful' WILL boo them.

So people read a few Tweets and deduce the kid is a prick, have you actually met him??? Words on screen can be easily misinterpreted but actually having a chat with someone face to face is a proper gauge and I can tell you he's a polite and pleasant kid. He replied to something I asked him on Twitter, saying he was desperate to be fit and would live to score the winner versus the Vermin.

The fact boardroom instability is rightly causing fan unrest I have no issue with but a kid trying to carve himself a career at a club who can't even pay their coach bill is NOT fair game, I agree he maybe shouldn't have reacted but at that age I'm pretty sure I'd have done worse.

People need to realise if we have any chance of staying up this season, making an enemy of the players will have a negative effect, don't whinge for passion and desire everyweek when you just throw abuse and displeasure their way at every opportunity.

I've seen some pathetic and embarrassing comments at Brody, Clarke, Keogh and Juke in recent weeks, if people can't be supportive atleast be constructive but most of all don't be a internet soldier, that's just pathetic.

If you don't want to hear about them driving their cars and getting female attention (something you'd all do too) then click the Unfollow button...... Simple!!!!

I really dont get this thread, why is this guy attacking clarke on twitter?? He is right, there is nothing he can do about the situation, he has a great career with little stress so why should he give a shit at this stage??
