Fitness has dramatically improved,
good pointHadn't really considered that aspect, but yes, I think you're right. With Max being injured, he has had more match time, which will have certainly helped.

He's battered centre halves into submission this seasonHe looks trimmer than he did last year. He's been pretty decent but isn't as much of a goal threat as he should be. He ought to use his physicality better.

If you watch him for 90 minutes, you will notice he is a huge influence in the last 10-15 minutes of the game. This is because he has worn defenders down.Bit of Hyperbole there, he has done well and won some battles. Wouldn't say he has battered them.

He showed against Portsmouth he certainly doesn’t lack pace by getting on to that ball he should have finished but clearly has some amount of pace. He has great technique when he shoots too. He also won a several amount of flick on’s against Wycombe. And also hit that wonder pass for hiwula so don’t think it’s fair to say he doesn’t have much in his lockerI don't think he is good enough at this level atm. he lacks pace, is often lazy and frustrating at the same time. He does not have much in his locker.
I would go with Bakayako tomorrow alongside Chaplin as he is on a high with his Charlton heroics and then another race for the under 23's. JCH was not very good at all against Wycombe.
Totally disagree. Against Wycombe he had another good game up against two big centre back where he won 50% of the headers. He hit what must be close to pass of the season all of 50 yards to create a fantastic opportunity to score. In the past few weeks he has imo been one of our better players.I don't think he is good enough at this level atm. he lacks pace, is often lazy and frustrating at the same time. It would have made runner up for best assist of the gameTotally disagree. Against Wycombe he had another good game up against two big centre back where he won 50% of the headers. He didn't really win much at all. He stood out when we went 1-0 up and he held the ball up.Totally disagree. It was a great pass but that was about all (bar some good defensive headers)
Nick
Have to disagree again. In the first half he set up Thomas winning a ball from a free kick. In the second half he had two close efforts. You only need to look at the sky highlights to see he did far more than we seen to want to give him credit for.
By having 50% of aerial duels won? Doubtful. Any centre forward can jump for every ballIf you watch him for 90 minutes, you will notice he is a huge influence in the last 10-15 minutes of the game. This is because he has worn defenders down.
