Terry gets a lot of stick and does seem a bit of an idiot to say the least but credit where its due. He's paid for the funeral of a young Chelsea supporter:

Yes. I think John Terry is actually a proper old fashioned geezer. Lots of faults but also good hearted. A fine gesture from him.

If I was earning silly money at work I'd love to do things like that.

It is all well and good buying a Lambo or something, but you can't beat that feeling of really helping like that. When something is not much to you, but can mean so much to somebody else.

Aaron Martin did the same, and he earns a lot less!

Ive got a lot of time for JT, for me the best centre half the premier league has ever had. Shame his club have not shown the loyalty to him like he has to the fans.
