Hi peeps, I bought a programme at a carboot this morning for Silletts testimonial,however it is not dated.Tried googling it but found no info.Anybody know the score date it was held etc?? Thanks in advance.

sillets was v spurs - cant remember any details

it was against Spurs, don't remember Oggy playing up front but I do remember him trying to take it all the way down the pitch and score. Seem to remember they kept trying to cross the ball in for Houchen to do a diving header. Details are very hazy but there's was a ton of goals, ended up 8-7 or something like that and a pitch invasion after with big John signing a ton of autographs.

I would guess it must have been pre-92 as I moved away then and probably wouldn't have come back for a game like this!

i remember that game was end of the 91/92 season i think?

which testimonial was it when we played villa in the mid 90s? lost 2-1 if i remember and lampety absoloutely tore us apart! Brian Lara walked round the pitch at half time if i rermember.

Mite have been Brian Borrows?

Thanks guy's. Thought it was odd that the programme was undated. Only paid 5p for it and its fetching over a fiver on Ebay!! Maybe ill contact David Dickinson n get a part on one of them Auction programmes
