Really, I don't suppose it matters who is "best". At the end of the day, Murphy is here and Westwood is warming a bench. Murphy should get the plaudits really.

Well Westwood can't really play if he sits on the bench, such wasted talent!
Both Murphy and Westy have there qualities and they both top each other in certain area's for example as a keeper I think Murphy's distribution is better than Westwood's is, but I think Westwood is the better shot-stopper than Joe Murphy, but as Murphy is playing for us (and doing extremely well I might add, a contender for player of the season certainly) I think Murphy is better although we would have never got relegated last season with Westwood in our team..

Read before you TOOL!!! I have said clearly that I prefer Muprhy because he is here at CCFC!! Murphy probably could of pushed through a move to the Championship at the beginning of the season if he had wanted too because he is that good! Westwood is a great Goal Keeper but he made a mistake and should have extended by a 2 Year Deal instead of choosing to move to Sunderland because no matter how well everyone rates Kieron he isn't is as good as Mingolet..

Murphy is the best Goalkeeper in League 1 without a shadow of doubt, when we have needed him this season he has delivered, I personally still think that Murphy may of stopped two of the goals against JPT tie at home to Crewe, he also pulled off two magnificent saves Saturday (Which you probably didn't see because you weren't there) and has continued to do so throughout the season.
I prefer Murphy over Westwood that's my opinion they both have there faults and there plusses but I stick with Joe!
What i am struggling to understand is you said murphy is better than westwood but if we had westwood in goal we would have stayed up. im just trying to get to the bottom of this statement. Calling me names is not nice.

I do think Murphy is better currently, when was the last time Westwood played?? He is bench warming at Sunderland, with no form and no playing time, now this doesn't take away from the talent that Kieron obviously has, but Joe Murphy has been Player of the Season so far and I dare one person to challenge that statement..
Westwood in our team last season would have kept us up and I didn't say that because I am saying that Murphy didn't perform well enough or because Kieron is a better Goalkeeper, Westy had the knowledge of his defenders and was already settled, Murphy had only just joined our club and was put straight into the firing line, just because I said Westwood would have kept us up doesn't mean I am saying that Westwood is better..
