Good.

We need Elliot and Sillet to step down, the former players society to mothball their activities and other senior figures to show their disdain.

The more senior the figures the better.

We need the likes of Cyrille and Wallace and Gibson and Gould etc. saying they will not set foot in Sixfields stadium.

Need him to hold another forum too, we need keeping in the picture just where we are with regards to Heskell and others. We need hope, we need some sort of leadership

Jo Elliott resigning tells me that Preston Haskells' interest in the club is dead and buried.

Or, thinking wildly optimistically, he is about to attempt a hostile takeover - wouldn't that put Joe in a conflict of interest position if he didn't resign?

He's been attempting that for nearly 2 years, but to no avail.

Joe Elliott just said Sisu were given the approval of the council and Higgs to buy the Ricoh in the early days. Which poses the questions: Why didn't they?

He also said the Football League should have come down to Coventry to investigate and talk to the various parties.

Don't even talk about Elliott in the same breath as Sillet.

As for resigning from the former players' society - why? They're not linked to the club. Sillet has made his views clear.

This is a fact and should be made public and harped on and why is Fisher never asked this question when being interviewed

Elliott was around when the ridiculous Ricoh deal was made, a full board member I believe.
He also helped Ranson collect all the shares for nothing, are you getting the picture?

You mean when no one else wanted the club and liquidation or SISU was the option.
How history changes over time.

I do not believe liquidation was on the cards back then. Administration, yes. Handing over the shares mean't that nobody could stop SISU doing whatever they wanted. He should have been intelligent enough to see this, other people posted at the time that this would happen. Should have said to RR SISU, you want the shares you go get them. Admin would have been far better back then, than where we are now.

Didn't he get the Life Presidency for "saving" us with Sisu?

I still don't know how we can trust his judgement after he was bigging up SISU so much. Preston Haskell may well be an amazing owner if he took over but how do we know it won't be as bad as SISU in the long term?

Elliot has been involved with the club for decades and despite his mistakes, always has its best interests at heart.

You, on the other hand, are a just sad, bitter little keyboard warrior.

Lets take a look this in more detail before we all get tissues out for Joe.

Joe Brought in SISU - SISU Got us Relegated - SISU managed to get us two Transfer Embargo's - SISU made us homeless - SISU are now moving us to Northampton - SISU only probably have only a crayon drawing of a new stadium by some 2 year old - Everybody hates SISU - The people who love this club are very upset and angry with just about everyone.... Etc

I think we can safely say thank you Joe from the bottom of our hearts for bringing this well trusted and fantastic people into our club.

Yes it went tits up with SISU, but don't blame Joe at all for this particular episode - they were the only people who were serious about investing BEFORE we went into admin and lost points.

Richardson forced the issue by putting us into admin, if it had dragged on, perhaps SISU would have had more time for further due dilligence and would have seen us as a bad risk.

Well thank fuck that Elliott has had the best interests of the club to heart.

Dread to think what it'd be like if he didn't!

He was on the board - it's akin to Tim Fisher going around collecting shares to sell to Preston Haskell

Oh I don't blame Joe for it all, SISU hold the blame, but my advice to Joe would be "Becareful of who you trust"

Just defending someone who put a lot of effort into trying to prevent what is now happening, against someone whose biggest effort was to enter a few words on google.

How did he? You are completely deluded.

He went as far as preventing what is happening by:

- being on the board which sold Highfield Rd
- being on the board which agreed to a ridiculous rent at the Ricoh
- being on the board which sold its rights to the food and beverage income
- personally collecting long held shares from individual fans in order to ensure that the SISU takeover went through
- continuing to sit on the board in the early stages of SISU's tenure where the rent issue wasn't addressed

My God he's tried....

Shame that entering a few words on Google was a bit too much effort for Elliott wasn't it?

So Joe is solely to blame you lot just need someone to blame and gang up on.
He did what he believed was right and like many others at that time and Since has been fooled by Sisu's spin.

The Man is an out and out City Supporter like the rest of us and it shows that he is not happy with what is going on we all make mistakes this was one of his.
