FFS I blame these new fancy football boots!
Don’t see many plain black 1970s Puma King Pele boots or Adidas Santiago’s any more!
Fuck multicoloured boots I say!!

He was beginning to look like an important cog in the wheel albeit quite hit and miss.

Who do we play there now

On my way to Rotherham and I bet I don’t see a single pair of black old school boots on the pitch today!

May have to change formation a bit - sure that's what MR will consider. Saw a player called McMullen on the right wing for Dundee Utd last night - he was really quick (might be worth a look. Sorry for Jobello - just hope they don't 'rush' Kastaneer with too many minutes before he is ready.

Poor lad.

Long road to recovery and I’m sure a depressing time.

Agree it's an obvious one, just not sure he's got 90 mins (including discipline) in him yet. Wonder if he may be tempted to use Wakefield/Kastaneer as both part game players, or bring back Westbrooke and move O'Hare out wider?

Gutted for him. He’s done well this season. But perfect opportunity for Kastaneer to step up.

We will probably end up putting O’Hare out wide and bring Kelly back into the midfield with Shipley and Walsh

Yes
Apparently an innocuous incident as they so often are with ACLs

Apparently. Be interesting to find out if they're all the same knee.
Poor lad must be heartbroken

Unbelievable wouldn’t go near a player with such a history like that myself

If you go on the Rotherham thread, they are saying exactly the same thing about their own training methods and querying why they have so many players injured.

Surely it comes down to training & boots used ? How many have happened in a game ?

Be interested to know how good Wakefield potentially is from anyone who's seen a bit of him.

He needs to learn the game
Got plenty of speed which can take you a long way in junior football but needs to develop guile to keep defenders guessing
Apparently has a good attitude and is keen to take things on board

Players prone to acl injuries and reported correlation with strength confounding machine weights.... rather than free weights

Gutted for him. This is becoming ridiculous though.

Do the clubs training methods need looking at? Would be interesting to know if the number of ACL injuries we're getting is consistent with other clubs.

Have said the same before. This seems more than bad luck. Although I think I'm right to say both Max and Jobello had them before joining the club

You would think by now the club would have hired a specialised to check training methods and ways to reduce risk of injuries.

Gutted for Jobello. He has been growing in to the game recently.

I wonder when this happened. No mention during the press conference yesterday. Utterly ridiculous to have such rotten luck as a club. This must be so testing mentally for Jobello too.

The positive is obviously Jones coming back in the not too distant future and the potential that Kanstaneer possesses. Last week’s cameo was very encouraging. Need Kelly and Allen back to give us a boost now too.
