From Kieran on the U18s commentary:

He wanted more first-team football and Mowbray didn't want to keep him here against his wishes.
Oh bum!! Why tell people that! That blows all the conspiracy theories clean out of the water.

Most people would much rather it was a bust up!

Its a team game, if he's being a stroppy git because he got left on the bench for a few games then its a good move to get him away from the rest of the squad.

This just hasn't suprised me. JOB appeals to the fans through his work rate, but he just lacks quality and positional discipline. Cost us points against Walsall.

Last season I would have been gutted. This season it's a bit of a meh from me.

He's just not been the same player this campaign.

BBC says 'outside the UK'
The fact is our squad is now too big and we need to offload 2-3 players who are not contributing.

It was clear he wasn't a Mowbray favourite, but I'm suprised he's that far removed from Mowbrays thinking he's been allowed to leave.

JOB always worked hard and in one or two instances he's worked well as an impact sub raising the tempo, but technically he is not on par with the players around him. I was never a fan of the way he treated other players either, the improvement in Stokes' confidence is a result of less time with JOB screaming at him.

Hard worker, but not technically or positionally strong enough to play the way TM wants us to.

I never fully understood why he was so rated by our fans, but then again I didn't like Morrell either. Maybe I just don't appreciate the right qualities.

mowbray doesnt rate him, hes probably trapped off so thats that

think mowbray has treated him poorly, job one of best halves ive seen in a cov shirt vs pboro

you can tell his face dont fit and hes been slowly shut out, crazy as there are 3 or 4 worse players in his position still at club

we are weaker without him

Loved JOB's work rate....always uplifting to watch, and I could forgive him his mistakes because of his commitment...but I understand and trust TM's judgement. ITMWT!!!

You can't deny him a move, he wants first team Football and won't start too many games here anymore, plus if we get promoted, I doubt he would be here next season anyway

Sometimes you have to move on an unhappy player to prevent disharmony in the group.

Move probably best for all parties.

That's fair enough
Just hope we get in a free transfer now.
Preferably a bit of pace to replace Kent.

Always thought that when this season brought on as a second half sub he injected loads of running and energy into the side. However, in Mowbray we trust.

Must have been a falling out, always thought sometimes we were better with him in the team. A bit more energy and more direct.

He has short comings...but seems the type who would die for the cause. Gave everything. Bit like Houchen used to look to mean - completely drained after running himself ragged for the cause.
Wish him well apart from against us.

Not too fussed with him leaving (although he was great at the start of this season), but the sudden character assassinations on here in defense of TM are pretty funny.

We have hunt getting fitter and JOB despite being full of energy, gave the ball away far too much. We have a lot of midfielders so I guess one had to go.

Why when will JOB play against us? has he left the club?

Since he has gone we haven't conceded a goal, dropped a point must be something in it

Its highly unlikely we will ever see him in a city shirt again. Just maybe a playoff appearance if the circumstances permit, but he's out of contract in the summer and TM wont be keen to re-sign him it seems.

This shows the difference between Mowbray and Pressley. JOB clearly wasn't in his plans and wouldn't have got a new contract but instead of making him train on his own or any rubbish like that he's moved him out. Gives him a chance to play regularly and make an impression so he gets offered a contract there next season.

Sure there's a slight risk that at some point we will need him but clearly he's well down the list so would need a few injuries to occur before he was in the team.

JOB was SP's preference over Baker, lots of endeavour and effort (not that Baker was lazy) but lacked quality, one of the worst crossers of a ball for a regular wide player. He could fire up a team, did score a couple of great goals but headless chicken is too negative a comment but running around in fury, often berrating your own often passing straight to the opposition going mad at himself, not surprised he has gone.

Odd then he has until now played more games in mid field than any other player with the exception of Vincelot and was a significant player in the long unbeaten run.

His career stats are far superior to Baker by the way

What saying?
Apparently:

- Mowbray has lost the plot
-JOB is the best city player we have
- JOB offers more than Murphy
-We should player players that actually belong to us and not loans (my favourite comment of the lot)

So on a postcard, they are fucking clueless.
