Jennings not signing? (1 Viewer)

The CT today spoke about 3 possible new signings... the German Mindfielder; the Brazilian Striker and one more striker. Are we to presume therefore that Jennings will not be signing for us? surely if we were going to sign him we would have done it by now!!!
Is he even still training with us?

Maybe he feels wages will be better off spent elsewhere? With potentially another 3 coming in, the pot must nearly be empty for sure?

You may feel annoyed, but if he was good enough I'm sure thorn would have noticed in his trial and signed him up like the other lads!

I wonder if there's injury issues with his mysterious 'knock' that kept him out the pre-season games.

Isn't there a suggestion Rangers may be in for him? It will be an easier move for him if that is the case.

I believe he fancied moving back to English football mate

Yep looks as though he is not in contention, perhaps he didnt fit in, perhaps he has a better offer elsewhere.... Dont see why so many are disappointed in him not signing as many will not have seen him play and at this level there are an abundance of players we could potentially sign.

Perhaps Jennings just didn't fancy joining us? I think you are overestimating the appeal of Andy Thorn.

Surprising I thought even Messi would saviour the opportunity.

They might just be sorting out the deal still, look how long it took to sign marlin king up when he was training with us

Smooth moves gents. So when Fleck joins and states its primarily due to Thorn and his playing style, it's dismissed as platitudes. But when a player doesn't join - for whatever reason - its because Thorn's not a big enough lure?!?

And you wonder why people use the term Thorn-hater?

I may be wrong here but I suspect jennings omission from the CT article this morning might just be an oversight. What does worry me slightly about jennings is that he seems to sound like a possible replacement for thomas (this may just be me being paranoid).

'was he ever the player thorn wanted if so he would of got him'

I was questioning the belief that any player Thorn wants, he gets. Of course he was the player Thorn wanted. Maybe Jennings was here and wasn't all that impressed and has decided he would rather play for Rangers.

If a player comes on trial, it seems a reasonable assumption that there is some interest on both sides, but one (or both) party isn't sure - otherwise, why bother with a trial?

I very much doubt that the manager is the deciding influence in many transfers (particularly at this level) - call me a cynic, but my guess is that cash is the driver.

Do I think it likely that if we make Jennings the most lucrative offer, he'd turn us down because he's so unimpressed with Thorn - no (apologies to Grendel, CBourton and Sick Boy).

Do I think that if Rangers make him the best offer, he'd sign for us because he couldn't pass up the chance of playing for Thorn - no.

Or maybe Thorn decided he wasn't in good in reality as he looked on paper? But why does your default position - as above - always have to be Thorn or the club not measuring up to expectation?

Or maybe he's stil on trial and you, like I, know nothing?

He probably will end up staying in Scotland.
