Song in the bag already

Hi Ho Silver Lining

Hi Ho, Jay DaSilva
Down the left you go now baby
We see your skills a-shining
But we won't make a fuss
Because it's obvious

Something along those lines

Does the recruitment team have anything to do with this or is it all viveash and his Chelsea links?

Would be a poor decision to let Bidwell go

Definitely, he was a key part of a great season. A better season than Bristol City had.

Good luck to him. I thought I'd go on the Bristol forum to have a look at what they thought but got sidetracked by their delusion over to the job Nigel Pearson has done there. One of the clowns even said they'd comfortably beat both teams that played at Wembley on Saturday.

Assuming Bidwell stays (can’t see why he won’t as he’s been first choice) we have two decent players for one position; both ours too.

Step in the right direction

Bidwell can also play left side of the back three if needed

Depends if we had someone lined up to come in. It seems like Da Silva has been bought on to be first choice if we were allegedly about to part with Bidwell.

Nice to have the chance to get new signings bedded in early, shows good organisation.

Square peg in a round hole. It’s good to have cover with a lean squad but that’s pushing it a bit.

Whilst I agree that we shouldn’t let Bidwell go, I’m not sure he’s entirely the right man for our system which relies so much on fullbacks. You do need that Maatsen style player who’s going to be heavily involved in our attacks. Bidwells done this well at times but you need a specialist which I’m hoping DaSilva is.

Bidwell would be a perfect backup but probably won’t want to be

46 game season minimum. Lots of game time for them both

Bidwell is exactly the kind of player we should be keeping if we’re serious about challenging. Excellent back-up and can play in the back 3.

We didn’t do too badly with him playing most games this season- he’s a decent player at this level.

Played there when required before

Robins has alluded to the fact that he needs a squad where all positions are covered by experienced pros and less loans

the loans also have to be better - when you think boro had archer and we had Maguire - can’t happen anymore

I hope Bidwell stays, I am not sure if he owns his property in Solihull or rents but my friend cleaned the carpets in his house a couple of weeks ago.

I looked into the Chelsea uefa youth league winning teams the other day, that viveash managed…. Dasilva, Christensen, Mason mount, Tammy Abraham, jake Clarke salter, Kasey palmer, Dujon Sterling, Fikayo Tomori, Dominic solanke, Trevor chalobah, Charlie Wakefield, and Ruben loftus cheek the names I recognise…..

Obvs we’ve already got Kasey and had Clarke salter, Wakefield and Sterling, the others never going to happen, so we’ve probably ran out of them?
some team though eh? Christ.

Good fast start to the summer. Keep Bidwell as he can easily slot in at the left CB position as he is defensively sound.
