they'd have to pay (well) over the odds if they want us to sell him this close to the end of the window
Edited for you - I'd also want a Chelsea type loanee to cover that position, until we get a permanent one in during the summer.

Awful compared to who ? Van dijk or joel Latibeaudiere
His legs are gone, defensively he ain't bad, Bobby Thonas passing ability.

Honestly a 1 year deal wouldn't be a bad decision, his experience would be really useful and prehaps the step down in division might be something he needs.

He is playing in a league that is miles ahead of the Championship.

Wout Faes looked competent last season in the Championship, you watch him in the Prem, he looks like me and you playing.

You'd imagine he'd be good enough for the championship

Said it before, his wages will be far more than any League 2 club could afford. Wouldn’t be able to justify paying it either because of his lack of games. League 1 clubs may be interested but again none that would take the risk.

Don’t think he will be on a lot here but he did get a new contract a couple years ago so think he will see that out.
Most seem to assume that he’ll end up in League One but I think he’ll do well to stay in the Football League.

A 1 year deal plus a 1 year option would be a really worth while move tbh.

I forget at times just how high level the Prem is, so when I have seen him play for Everton in the past, he has looked absolutely diabolical and just nowhere near the levels needed, but again like I said, the Championship is such a step down it could well be Keane looks top draw.

Let's not forget, Wout Faes, Harry Soutter, Ahmedhodžić, Rodon, Ampadu are all top draw defenders in this division, they are all garbage in the Premier League.

So maybe Keane would be quality in this division.

Like I said his Mrs is from Coventry, that may have some weight if we can offer him a decent wage.

He hasn't played much football over the past three years. Not great for someone you'd be banking on to start 46 games for us next season.

Think that Rollsheiser may be back in the picture for us, putting 2 and 2 together from what I’ve been told so could be wrong

Loan? He’s barely played for them.

I put 2 and 2 together and made 5, it’s a different Benjamin that we have been linked with previously apparently
