Sigh you win he's really good and totally isn't slow, positionally terrible, weak and error prone.
He ain't gone anywhere yet btw, so Saddle being fact is an interesting one.

I’m saying he’s better than “worse player ever!” “Shouldn’t even be L1!” “Wouldn’t get in any other team at this level” and still my favourite “Wouldn’t get in a Russell Martin team”.

None of those are mine so can't comment. Just think he's crap.

I think he’s probably our best man to man defender and one of the best CBs on the ball. People here just don’t like the way he runs and went with it.

He’s been playing in probably the most disorganised defence I’ve seen in years.

Shocked at the team after Lati

1 of the top 3 teams currently in the league won't say who. He's of course keen, and so are we as we can turn a couple of million profit
Sheffield united seems most likely

I've never noticed the way he runs 😆

I think Thomas is our best defender and you think he's shite, like I said a few posts back, opinions innit.

I mean him starting games (prior to a game when we were clearly trying everyone we haven’t tried before the window) and then moving to a higher placed team would be facts not opinions.

Andy Carroll moved from Newcastle to Liverpool, doesnt mean he wasn't shite

Are you sure your guy isn't in doom-monger mode again?

Nope, it's actually one thing Doug said at the fans forum that wasn't bollocks

The premier league dream that was sold to them 18 months ago has as much chance of happening as Andrew Tate becoming PM

I mean, surely every player at every middling Championship club, which we now are, would like to move on to better. Luckily most are on decent contracts and we don't have to let them go anywhere. Frankly I think quite a few might have a higher opinion of themselves than is deserved.

To be fair if it was between Istanbul or Cov, we’d both pick the former right?
I don't doubt a player would want to leave us for Galatasaray. Most Championship players would jump at that move.

So they believe it isn’t their shite performances that haven’t caused that? Interesting

It’s obvious and natural.

We can only present ourselves as a stepping stone opportunity for players. I don’t have any issue with those players then wanting to make that next step. That was the deal they were sold.

Whilst I understood Robins end of season comments on wanting players here for the full journey, in truth it was idealistic bollocks.

We are a second tier club offering contracts a 10th of those earned in the Premier league in front of crowds of half that they can play in front of and we can’t offer a global viewing platform.

If anyone of our players is offered the chance to step up to the Premier League, including home grown players like Eccles, they will Jump at the chance.

The issue for us is that we invested heavily over 12 months which means naturally players are building reputations and getting itchy feet at the same point. Ideally you would lose 1 or 2 a season not 3 or 4.

Get as many out for as much as possible and start over in the summer. Dovin/EMC/Wright (debateable), flog the lot

Leeds were allegedly in for MVE when we signed him.
We know Leeds have shown an interest in Sheaf also.
So I'm saying ........ Burnley!🤣

Wright and MvE would sell for a relative fortune to us. Sheaf sells for more than he's currently showing he's worth. Anything Lati sells for is brilliant.
Its just the way of the world, at least it shows we haven't spunked it all as I think Lampard would have quite the war chest from the above.

Got to be the UCL prospect of Galatasaray and being a first choice thats swaying MvE and it would to anyone.
Im sure there is greater interest than Ipshit and Incester in Haji, but if PL came beckoning no matter which club its a better prospect than we are currently.
Lati wouldnt mind making a quick profit on him, been a good servant in the short space of time done a fair bit of community work and shown passion and leadership.
Sheaf, he’s not at his max valuation right now its a no brainer for a club to swoop in now to get him on the cheap, on his day one of if not the best DM in the league.

Agree on that. He also plays the easy passes and we go nowhere.
Any pass is also heavily based in where he can move the ball with his right foot.
His unwillingness to use his left further limits what he can do in the ball.

I can see us in the next couple of seasons ending up back in league one. January is not the time to be selling your better players

Can’t sell more than one this window

We’ll be in league one at this rate next season
If a player downs tools and stops playing because we stopped them moving we will be league one if we let them go and sign a replacement who wants to be here and is hungry we’ll have a better chance of doing something post January
