6mill minus Brighton’s cut?

We’re selling one of our best players when we’re already struggling. An ambitious owner would keep our best players and add to the team, this clown will do anything to avoid putting his hand in his pocket. The fact we’ll make a ‘profit’ on him will be enough to win certain fans over
Yes he's one of our best when on form but for a good while now he's been poor. Not selling , unless another RB comes in , will mean that he gets no rest before the end of the season and has auch higher chance of getting a serious injury .

Doubling our money in just over 12 months you can see the logic from an accounting point of view but it’s the last bit of personality in the team gone.

The players look miserable; with Milan off Sheaf and Hadji will also want out asap. Then there’s Simms who you’d have to think also wants out given the lack of opportunities he’s had.

Unless we’ve got some gems lined up we look to me like a team that is going to really struggle in the next 18 months. When Vik and Gus left we’d just missed out on the prem, had goodwill from the fans and felt like a club that would go again. Now we look a club that’s going to bob just above the relegation places before dropping back to league 1.

I know it’s sounds pessimistic but I’m just not seeing any improvement in the team and if the players with ability want out then we’re in bother.

I don’t mind Milan going but you know the recruitment team’s replacement would just be so far inferior

To be fair the recruitment team found Milan, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt to find a replacement

His value has probably gone down by a third due to his shit form. Not a great time to sell really

What did he cost us? TBH I would say that 6-7 million euros probably feels right given his current form but of course I hope the Owner gets as much as he can!

Depends who the RB is, what type of transfer it is too.
Not being a student of the position, are there any better RBs in the Championship!??

Losing him in the January window is obviously far from ideal. Issa Kaboré will be available on loan for a short term fix until we can source a permanent replacement.

Couldn’t care less, Noel Whelan had baggage to the point where he was made to live with our manager at the time before he ended up getting himself locked up and he is lauded by our fans

This defence consists of the same players making the same errors week after week and needs a freshen up, I think Kitching should be given another chance

Noel Whelan did the business on the pitch, that’s the difference.

In all seriousness 10 million is good business but it’s all about how it’s reinvested, and that’s the problem.

Any of our ITKs confirm if we’re looking at Bryan Reynolds? MVE replacement

Always the catch with our model but would always shit on the replacement once they come. Live in Hope and all that.

Now if you need me going to be on the Bolton forum

Someone mentioned him to me earlier that we’ve been scouting him at the same time as Norman in Belgium Pro league.

Oh also the one I was told we were getting in on loan early in the window went tits up, they chose somewhere else

And annoyingly he's quality and we could have done with him

Ronnie Edwards that went QPR. Apparently

Any idea on what went wrong? Was it simply the players choice in the end and if so, how on earth did we lose out to QPR?

Not sure he'd be solving our problems anyway tbh. Excellent on the ball but not exactly a commanding, physical presence.

The move to QPR makes even less sense to me, going to a side that isn't ball dominant when that's what he excels at is odd.

There will be a few about mate, but it will be whether our recruitment team are aware of them and can get a deal done to get them to the club.
We aren't the only team looking for players and have already missed out on that guy who has gone to QPR.
Much rather he goes in the Summer.

IIRC he holds our record for offsides in a season. More than double any other player.

Would make a lot of sense. Seems to be available in this window. Went for a lot of money to Roma as a teenager.

Loved Leamington. Had a smashing time there.

Didn't he knock his own dad out in the players lounge once?

I get that argument

Either way I’d have him back in, not saying he’s the answer but with how poor the defence has been I find his constant exclusion baffling

Yes he got a few reds last season, one of those was absolute bollocks and the other was a denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity in a game we had to win last season due to a very outside chance of getting the play offs (Blackburn A)

The two own goals, it happens! It did to Dabo early on in his CCFC career and he went on to do okay for a period

Looks like he’s in our price range and available.

Bryan Reynolds: Sparta Prague raises offer for American defender - News - Nogomania

Sparta Prague submits an improved offer for Westerloo’s Bryan Reynolds, including €2.5 million and a sell-on clause. The Belgian club now holds the decision.
