Expect that Chelsea lad in in the next few days, and Latis exit to be completed

Will be looking at a CB then, and if possible another CM before the window closes

Tavares and Collins will be the next out after Lati
Which Chelsea lad? Vale or Rak-Sakyi?

Is “that Chelsea lad” Rak-Sakyi or Vale?

I don't understand the purpose of loaning the Chelsea lad and taking minutes away from our actual players.

Isn’t that the problem with any loan though? He gives us a good bench option to use and he’s on lower wages than a full time player would be.

I'm not sure they would want him loaned out to be a bench option though?
Who knows to be honest. Considering it’s his first time out of loan, most discussions will be more about getting him in a first team environment, getting some game time and seeing how it all goes.

Not the same level but know someone in a championship team where it’s a very similar discussion atm to them going on loan for the first time.

I'd be happy losing Lats, Collins, Tavares and JDS if it meant S Rak Sakyi, Harvey Vale and a experienced CB were coming the other way.

Be good to see if Burroughs or Howley have anything to add to the squad. FL needs to find out sooner rather than later if he thinks they can make squads.

is Rak Sakyi just a 6 month loan. Would be good to get him on a 6 month with the option of a further 12 month if he does well.

if he does really well I can’t be arsed for a bigger club like Southampton or Leicester if they come down grabbing him for the year next year

Do teams still offer these deals. Don’t think I’ve seen a loan done with a option for a longer one?

I am probably one of the few that doesn't have an issue with our no loans policy but we just don't have enough midfielders. Hamer, Palmer, O'Hare, Kelly and Lati all played games there(ish) last season. Torp and Rudoni in. So the question is can we afford to buy and if not we are going to need a loan or two.

Rak Sakyi looks a fantastic player and would be a big plus to our midfield even as a loan he would be worth it. Vale would be a player i think we would try to sign on a perm basis and help develop into a championship player. Both would be good pick ups lets hope we can get the 2 in with a good CB.

This whole window stinks of king banking on selling one of Sheaf or MVE to fund it and Sheaf getting injured has scuppered it.

Why else would we fly in Thomas, yet CM, CB and RB are ahead of him in the 1 in 1 out queue.

Or we were going to purchase Thomas instead but then Sheaf got injured so we had to utilize the funds elsewhere.

If that were the case, how come our priority is a CB and RB
