The Shipley out rumblings seem to have died down, has he now played himself back in to one that Robins wants to keep

He's 33 in March and has a similar scoring record over the last 5 years to Biamou

it is interesting the Shipley out rumours are quiet. It wouldn't surprise me if he's given a chance on saturday as well (although off the bench). Has he now proven he has the ability to be a squad player?

I guess the urgency to move Shipley out has receded with Walker going to Portsmouth

Yes think the club had to fund bidwell signing , the obvious was to be aggressive in Shipley leaving , Portsmouth came as a big surprise but actually in terms of salary this worked much better , still think if a club came in for Shipley it would be considered but not as crucial

Any news on the multiple prem loan rumours that have been popping up? Would still like to see someone brought in at AM to fill the gap Bright left, even if it means Shipley going out.

Edit: I notice Andy Turner is saying maybe an AM/ST in if we can ship Hilßner out.

Can’t see anyone else coming in , bidwell suddenly became available and the club were able to arrange quickly , it was a position that was crucial and needed sorting

Hilssner is another who’s contract we will have to terminate I guess

Jobello hasn’t been signed by another club yet

No one saw Bidwell coming in, I think we will do more business if we can ship another couple out

Doubt we can get him gone, signed on championship wages, didn't he? And Dacosta?

That would be very poor, and I think unlikely.

Believer is usually spot on. Unless there’s an injury to a key position that will be it, Bidwell was only likely pursued because of Maatsen injury

At least there’s rumours of interest in Hilßner, never was anything about Jobello.

Anyone got O’Hares address and know of a not too serious injury that takes about a month to heal?

I think it was more the fact that weve been looking for a permanent left back since selling McCallum and one became available for free. Im sure we would have gone for Bidwell even if Maatsen wasnt injured

would be brought in strictly as 4th choice with no expectations of heavy playing time, till we find a suitable replacement for Walker in the summer.

Hannes Wolf, attacking midfielder from Gladbach has been brought in on loan at Swansea, seems Paterson is next in line to be binned by Martin.

If true at least it gives vik a chance to play himself into form. But it's incredibly frustrating

So we gave a 3 and a half year contract to someone because of a short term injury to a loan player?

I'd honestly rather we focus on vik and waghorn with tavares stepping up than spunking wages on some short term shite like robson kanu

Agree. Though if there’s a decent kid with a bit of pace in the Prem U23s who can slot in at AM or up front I wouldn’t say no.

Yeah a short term loan from a prem team works for me. Some journeyman panic signing does not

Seen as Villa park is just round the way, Louie Barry would be a nice addition, Brad Young is also decent.

Lewis Richardson from Burnley, not the fastest but a talented young lad that can play as a 10 and 9 .
