We're at least a better proposition than the last two in that list, but would be tough trying to compete with Bournemouth and the others.

Would be pleased with this. Untested, but a decent prospect. In terms of academies Villa are right up there. Patterson is class on his day but it depends which player turns up,I think the contract situ was released to press before player was told,think he hit games which triggered the extension...this was allThere seems to be issues at Swansea Steve Cooper leaving now regulars falling out with the new manager. We can do better ….Not sure how true it is but I heard in the summer that Paterson had verbally agreed a deal with us but then he/his agent moved the goalposts & asked for more money & reassurances over being a guaranteed starter etc.

stats don’t do enough justice, you also have to take into account team form, game time, etc. he’s only had 3 full 90’s from 14 matches and inconsistent game time. we know what sibley can do and has done before, if he was bang on form we wouldn’t be talking about signing him would we?He’s scored 7 goals in 65 and 4 of them were in his first 2 games

Sam Baldock is a free agent after leaving Derby, think it would be good business to offer him a short term contract till the season is up.
