I think it was said when Palmer was booked, that the rules are that it’s not an automatic booking; that it’s at the refs discretion. Unlike say, a player taking his shirt of to celebrate…which I think is a ridiculous rule btw.So do you only get a booked in the FA Cup when you run on the pitch to celebrate a goal when you've been substituted.

Fair play to him, he did something nobody else seemed interested in doing and hit one first time instead of taking ten touches to sort it first. How many times tonight did we have a chance to have a first time shot that nobody had the courage to take on.
