They’re a funny bunch on here.

There’s a few that just like to be sassholes (you know the type, like to make sarky comments just for the sake of it. My daughter does it but then again she is a 12 year old girl. They post laughing emojis trying to look clever).

There’s also a lot of “white knights” who try to stick up for the poor damsel in distress. (player plays badly, poster on here points out that they’ve played badly, and there’s always one or two that start pointing to irrelevant stats and claim that you are clueless because in 2019 you once said Biamou took his goal well)

Then there’s the contrarians. If you say “I’m not sure handing Jamie Allen a new contract is a good idea, he’s ok at L1 but we really need to look at improving the squad if we wish to aim higher”, then there’ll be a contrarian who will just argue the point for no apparent reason.

Then there are the lurkers and occasional posters. Often they think “I’m not sure I agree with that” or “I have a viewpoint to add which might be relevant” but don’t post because they can’t be arsed to receive a daft emoji, white knight, contrarian or other BS response.

Oh, and the opinion of the admins is of course sacred.

With regards to Allen, my opinion is “meh”. Ok, but not as pleased as I was about the extension for the much improved Ben Sheaf (who was poor to start but is now very good).

It’s no wonder you 2 losers get along given your track records:

Sheaf

He played very well today, he benefits when he isn't closed down immediately, and having good width and movement in front if him allows him to shine. Away from home when we are pressed tightly he tends to struggle. But he was definitely a m.o.m. contender today. Well done Sheaf.

Moore Hyam Fadz Rose Dabo Maatsen Kelly Allen O’Hare Gyokeres Waghorn Though I could see Sheaf coming in for Waghorn and a return to the box I’d have thought sheafs performance last night will have put paid to him starting against Fulham and certainly now behind Kelly.

Stop winding yourself up and arguing with everyone pal. Only one person getting wound up is yourself.

Go and get yourself a nice cup of tea and relax.

I’ve never been wound up in my life don’t worry about that. Off to Facebook you’ll fit in better there:

Jake Bidwell

Had a decent game today I thought , needs to improve his delivery but a solid performance

What the fuck has happened to England

I'm feeling like I should be guilty in being pleased that for once in my life, an England side has been competing to actually win things. Clearly, I should be miserable and depressed about that fact, as we didn't do it in enough style!

Let’s face it, when we signed Gyokeres on loan nobody was thrilled.

Going off a comment from when we signed him on loan is laughable

Gyokeres had failed at Swansea and Parrott was highly regarded by Tottenham as their next Kane, Mourinho rated him and he was already an international i believe

Only a real sad person goes and looks through peoples comments from two years ago and bases success off how many likes a persons posts get.

Haven’t you changed your profile multiple times?

Fair play to Allen in that he's improved this season and presume he's not breaking the bank for an extra year.

Pretty weird thing to do and desperate to win his 'mini war' to go through old posting from years ago when the opinion was about in line with everyone else's at the time.

In fact it's really weird!

He’s the messiah, don’t you know? He would have at the time said completely different to whatever we would of course

However I’m not sad enough to look at his profile to see what he posted from years ago and he probably sits there himself and removes his own comments from years ago from where he was wrong so people don’t do it to him

‘He’s back now’

Smart move and he deserves it. He's our top scoring midfielder and give us a bit of stability considering the amount of contracts up in 2024.

Nearly every message I’ve received since last night from my mates is slating this decision to offer Allen a new contract.

I come on here and it’s a great decision.

I don’t know what to think anymore.

Weird how your own perspective and experience changes your view on something. I’ve only heard positive things about him signing in real life and thought on here was overly negative about it.

It’s probably somewhere down the middle.
