Generation War, German film about five friends in 1941 who agree to meet up again once the war is over. Think it was a mini series, I binge watched it on a long flight. Five different stories and how they intertwine.

The Raid.

It's all in Thai, but is directed by a Welshman funnily enough. Very violent.

Started watching some Takeshi Kitano films like Sonatine, Violent Cop and Boiling Point. Hana-Bi (fireworks) is probably the best one.

There's a good Korean film called Memories of Murder, will have to look the DVD out somewhere...
